Story
Peachy is almost 1 year old now and is an energetic, intelligent, cuddly companion. She is a high energy dog, definitely more than we were anticipating! She is super smart and was the top dog in her basic obedience class! She is food motivated and knows all of her basic commands (look, sit, down, off, come, stay, place, stand, leave it). She walks pretty well on a leash but does pull if you let her. She is house trained and has never had an accident in the house, also crate trained, good with our birds and bunny. Will pester the cat, but not meanly. She loves my kids, but will get rowdy and knock my little 5 year old over on occasion. She does playfully nip for attention sometimes and does still jump on you when excited. She is a chewer and a digger when bored. She plays nicely with smaller dogs, unsure how she is with bigger dogs. She does bark at them on walks, especially when they get excited also. She’s shy and anxious around new people but great for the vet.

Story
We adopted radio from PAWS rescue. He was found with his litter mates in Tennessee. He is a Great Pyrenees/heeler mix. He will be 1 next month (July) He likes to chase our cats but they are not to fond of him. We have 3 other dogs in our house. He gets along well with them but our one does not care for him because she is senior. We feel he would be better suited in a house with older children as we have a toddler and he is constantly getting knocked over and pushed by him since he is a larger dog. He is a great dog but just sadly was not a good fit for our house. We are expecting baby number 2 and want him to go to a home that will have time to give him more attention. Please only apply if you are serious about a meet up/giving him a home and plan to respond back. Thank you

Story
Dexter is a 4-year-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who is ready to find a family to call his own. This gentle giant was surrendered due to a change in his familys living situation & becoming protective over his family. Now, he is searching for a kind-hearted home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished.Though Dexter is a bit shy when meeting new people, once he trusts you, he will shower you with affection, offering all the hugs and cuddles a dog can give! At heart, he is a big, soft teddy bear who just wants to be close to his loved ones. Because he is a little timid, Dexter would thrive in a calm, peaceful environment where he can take his time adjusting and building confidence at his own pace. He previously lived with a cat & another dog, but we would definitely hold meet & greets with any other current dogs. He would be extremely happy as your one and only pet. He prefers a home without small children but would do ok with older dog-savvy kids Breed experience not required but highly preferred. He can get very protective of his family so his ideal home would be a place without frequent visitors and a lot of space to run. We will cover the cost of a few training sessions with Dexter after adoption. On walks, Dexter loves to sniff everything he can, so he is a curious companion. He could use a bit of a refresher when it comes to leash manners, as he tends to get a little excited about all the wonderful scents. With some gentle training, hell be walking like a pro in no time!Dexter is crate-trained and house-trained, so he is well-behaved indoors. He enjoys lounging around but is always up for a quiet stroll or a bit of outdoor playtime if the mood strikes. He is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm, affectionate dog with a loving nature. If you are looking for a loyal friend who will offer endless love and devotion, Dexter could be the one for you. Come meet this sweet boy and see how he fits right into your family he is waiting for his second chance at happiness! If you would like to meet Dexter, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org
