Meet Alena! 🐾😍 This 1-year-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix is as stunning as she is sweet. With her soft, fluffy coat, striking gray mask, and feathery tail, Alena is a true beauty. Her gentle brown eyes radiate warmth, and her big, happy smile makes her impossible not to love. She’s the kind of dog who will turn heads on walks and melt hearts at home. Alena isn’t just beautiful—she’s incredibly gentle and affectionate, too. She adores people and gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. She loves being part of the action, whether that’s playing in the yard or lounging at your feet. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and calm, snuggly downtime. Alena is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring her beauty, sweetness, and loyal companionship into her forever home. Whoever welcomes this gorgeous girl will be gaining a best friend for life. ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Story
Jonah is a 4 year old Great Pyrenees looking for a very specific and committed forever home. He is a big, loving boy who needs an experienced adopter that understands guardian breeds and is willing to manage his quirks and advocate for his needs. Jonah requires a ranch style home with minimal stairs and a fully fenced yard. He needs easy, direct access to the outdoors without relying on walks for potty breaks. While he does enjoy playing with other dogs, a calm, easygoing Pyrenees or similar dog would be the best match, as his play style can be a bit much. He is reactive to other dogs while on leash but can coexist just fine with dogs in neutral environments like the groomer. True to his breed, Jonah has some guarding tendencies. He does not guard his food bowl, treats, or toys and allows handling while eating, but he will guard items he has stolen or discovered, especially anything he considers high value. Because of this, management and experience are key. Jonah cannot live with cats and has a very strong prey drive. If he were to catch something, he is unlikely to give it up. Jonah is stubborn on walks and can be unruly when excited to meet new people. He is submissive but lacks manners when overstimulated, so ongoing structure and consistency are important. He is not a fan of car rides and benefits from having another dog to help him feel confident getting in. Despite all of this, Jonah is an absolute love with his people. He is a huge snuggler, craves attention, and bonds deeply with those he trusts. He does well in a crate and settles nicely when given clear expectations. Jonah is not for a first time dog owner, but for the right experienced home willing to commit to him fully, he will be an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. Story
Meet Honey!Honey is ridiculously cute and she knows it.This sweet girl is just about six months old and she's a lab/pyr mix. Right now, she weighs 36lbs but definitely still has time and room to grow and fill out so she'll be a big girl when all is said and done!Honey is your typical bouncy puppy that wants to say hello to everyone she meets and then immediately be best friends. She's a 100% certified silly goose, a purebred good girl, and she loves everyone she meets. She's all about jumping all over you to drown you in kisses, trying to climb into your lap, and being the most excited puppy on the planet. She loves her walkies but does still need some help in the leash manners department because she sort of just zigzags everywhere all at once but she listens to redirection very well. She is HIGHLY motivated by praise and is eager to please. She's also very, very smart and picks up on things quickly so training her should be a breeze if you do it right.Honey loves other dogs but does have A LOT of energy so any potential canine housemates need to be able to keep up with her or, preferably, match her wild child energy. She would be great with kids 8+ but would probably knock over smaller kids because she has no sense of personal space. Honey does NOT do well with cats. She thinks they're toys. Honey would be the perfect companion for an active family looking for an extra daily boost of serotonin. She will make you laugh every single day, shower you in kisses always, and be the perfect snuggle bug when she decides it's time to settle down for a nap.To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.

Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Rykard! Rykard is approximately 2 years old, 61 lbs currently and he might have some Great Pyrenees in his mix! He was found as a stray. He could join households with other playful dogs and/or older dog-savvy kids. Cats are unknown. No apartments, please! He is pretty shy with new people and would benefit from a home with at least one confident dog to continue to show him the ropes. His foster says, `He’s a shy baby, that doesn’t understand how big he is. He’s playful and energetic. He uses his paws to let me know when he wants to go potty. He loves running out the back door into the backyard. He is trained to go to his crate for food. He’s a beautiful dog that deserves a wonderful home.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 30. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Hello potential adopters — this is a very emotional decision for our family, as we love Lola deeply. She is a beautiful, healthy three-year-old Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix. With a big heart and a big personality. Due to personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give her the space and lifestyle she truly deserves. Lola thrives in open environments where she can roam, explore, and feel purposeful, ideally a farm or a home with a large, secure fenced yard (an invisible fence will not work for her). Someone with experience with Great Pyrenees or working-breed dogs would be a wonderful match. Our priority is finding her a home filled with patience, love, and understanding. Please reach out only if you feel truly committed to welcoming Lola into your home and heart. Thank you!
