Story
weight 80 lbs 11 months old as of 4/14/2024 adoption donation $499 Lila is such a sweetheart! She is a VERY loving and gentle girl and definitely a Velcro dog—she is by your side or at your feet. She just loves to be petted and put her big head on your lap when you sit down. Lila would love to be a lapdog but has learned she’s a bit too big. But she does fall madly in love with her people!     Lila recently arrived in the northeast and settled in quickly in her foster home. She is an easy dog, if you leave her alone, she will just sleep and greet you with a very wagging tail when you return.    Lila adores children and would love to be in a family, she just loves to be in the mix. She walks well on a leash and is perfectly potty trained. She’s not a barker, she will just announce if someone comes to the door and then stop and wag her tail wildly at your guest.    Lila and her siblings were left in a cardboard box by the side of the road in rural Mississippi with a note saying "free puppies." Fortunately Wags stepped in and took the family in. One by one Wags brought her siblings up to loving homes, now it’s sweet Lila’s turn!     Lila loves to play with other dogs but  if there’s food or a toy involved  she becomes possessive and is definitely the alpha. She lived with cats at one  time and ignored them. We  haven’t seen her around them lately, but she does not appear to have a prey drive and is pretty slow moving so we think she would be fine.        Lila likes her crate and loves to gnaw on bones. She's a wonderful companion dog and will make a very loving and loyal member of the family. Story
Daisy was found as a young small puppy in rural Cullman County. The family that found her were on a farm and had children, cats and dogs. They thought they would rehome her but never got around to it. They love her but realized they did not have time for another dog. That is when they recently turned to us to help rehome her to a loving family. She is very very loving. Wants affection and has no trouble returning it. She loves to play and would do well with another playful dog, or a human that loves to play with her. Please consider giving this sweet girl the love she seeks. Daisy is fully vetted, spayed, heart worm negative, microchipped and had her double dew claws removed when she was spayed. She is healthy, still a puppy ( although a not so small puppy) and looking for a family to love. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com

Story
Meet cuddly Mario. He is a brown, dusted with black, and white Great Pyrenees mix born 12/25/2022. He is going to be big! He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and has been given a ProHeart 6 for heartworm protection. His adoption donation is $450.00 and the transport fee $165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Farrah of the Simms litter, 3 girls and 2 boys!Rescued after being abandoned alongside their mom, who appeared to be a medium-sized Pyrenees mix, these five little ones are now safe and sound in foster care. While their mom and two siblings remain missing, these puppies are thriving and ready to bring joy to their new homes. They are playful and affectionate, enjoying romping around and cuddling up with their foster family. Despite their young age, they are not very boisterous and all are currently undergoing house training. As they've only had one set of shots, they haven't had much exposure to grass or public spaces yet, but they're eager to explore the world with their new families. These sweethearts have been raised in an ex-pen kennel and have done well. They are all loving babies and should adapt well to any caring home environment. If you're looking for a loyal companion, these adorable puppies will be the perfect addition to your family!Give one of these cuties the loving home they deserve and make them a cherished part of your household.Breed: Great Pyrenees/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 8 weeksWeight: 7.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforcedVaccinations:   Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are responsibility of adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Getting thereMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  Texarkana TxPuppy Adoption Fee:  $550.00 (includes spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England.   We can provide a list of low costs SN clinics to adopters when requested. Adoption fee also includes transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.  PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this??
