Story
Caleigh is an 8 year old girl, and honestly the best dog ever who deserves to be in a better home during the last stage of her life.I adopted her from a farm out in McDade, TX from an accidental litter. Her father was a purebred Pyrenees and her mother was half Pyrenees half German Shepherd. She was always an active pup who loved hiking, long walks, and any treat she could get her paws on. Caleigh unfortunately has developed arthritis in both of her hips and has started to become more in pain as she grows older. I have two children under the age of 3 and this lifestyle is not conducive for her anymore. She now enjoys sunbathing, movie nights, and tons of naps. She is currently prescribed medication and needs shaving due to her discomfort. She thrives in a calming home with no children and does not mind hanging out alone. Caleigh is so lovable, gentle, a little sassy, and of course, the best, best friend anyone can have.

Story
We rescued Zara when she was 8 weeks old when we saw a post on Facebook and the owner was looking to euthanize her as he couldn’t find a home - we couldn’t let that happen. She has been so loving from that first moment we met her and immediately lit up our lives with her energy and playfulness. Fast-forward nearly 2 years and she is a big part of our hearts and home, which is what makes this so difficult. We recently had our first child, and it’s been really tough for her to adapt. She is used to, and needs a lot of attention and routine and we just can’t give that to her with a newborn. She deserves that focus from her owner and we don’t know when we will be able to be that for her again. We are hoping to find someone that will love her like we do, that can give her the attention, daily structure and activity that she needs. She is nearly 2 years old and she is a beautiful girl, a true, loyal protector, and currently shares a home with a younger pup.
