Story
Introducing Klondike! Half dog, half polar bear, this adorable fluff ball is charming his way into everyone's hearts with his joyful spirit and boundless energy! Klondike has already aced basic training classes, so he knows many commands. From sitting politely to shaking a paw, he's a quick learner who thrives on positive reinforcement. His loose leash walking skills are impressive, and he's a master at staying focused on his handler, making walks a joyous adventure for both of you. When it comes to water, Klondike adores it in all forms- whether it's from a hose, a bowl, a pool, or even the shower! His playful nature shines brightest when he's romping around with his beloved toys or engaging in a spirited game of tug of war with his favorite people. This sweet boy is 100% housebroken, crate trained, and he gets along sweetly with other dogs who can match his enthusiastic play style. He perviously thrived in foster homes where he lived harmoniously with horses, kids, and several other dogs. Klondike enjoyed patrolling the farm and he loved running & playing outside! This lovable pup is so ready to meet and bond with his forever family. We think Klondike is the perfect match for an active household who will take him on lots of adventures and continue teaching him new tricks and skills. Come meet this adorable fluffy marshmallow, and fall completely in love!

Story
We are so sad to lose him, but need to find a new home for our 10-month-old Pyrenees mix, Willett. He is a wonderful, calm, cuddly giant who we think would do well in a home *without kids* and where he is the only pet, and the owner can commit to clear boundary-setting and training for him. Details: - Currently living in NW Hills, in Austin - Male Great Pyrenees mix - 10-months-old - Was surrendered to Austin Animal Shelter in September, adopted by us 10 days ago - Not neutered - Up-to-date on all shots but will need LEPTO and rattlesnake vaccine booster - Recently got monthly dose of Heartgard/Nexgard - Not particularly treat or food motivated, but is a resource guarder While Willett has no history of aggression, he exhibited some early signs of resource guarding with our toddler (a quiet growl on two occasions). After speaking with four different trainers, we unfortunately came to the conclusion that he will not do well in our household with small children (2-year-old a

Story
Goose is 3 year old boy who loves to cuddle! He enjoys his walks/hikes but also laying around on the couch. He is very sweet and mellow when his owner's are at home. He's not super high-energy but I am looking for someone with a yard where he can roam as it seems like that is best for his breed. He's okay with other dogs and does enjoy playing with them, however, he tends to resource guard, so it would be best if the home he goes to does not have any other dogs. He also has separation anxiety and would do well with an owner that works from home. He needs someone who has the time and money to train him so that he does not exhibit those resource guarding behaviors. I did a pretty extensive training program with him and so he is good with commands and being off-leash, but only with his e-collar (which I would give to you). He has bitten other dogs and 1 person due to these resource guarding behaviors so it is imperative that you understand this and are prepared to do the training.

Story
Billy is a super playful and cuddly dog who loves playing with toys, especially bouncy balls. He has a fluffy coat and enjoys the water - his signature move is jumping in the water and then rolling in wood chips or grass then going back in the water….on repeat. While playing fetch, Billy will bring the ball back to you and drop it in your lap, he’s wonderful at self entertaining! He is very cuddly and loves to snuggle up with his humans. Billy is house-trained and knows basic commands. He would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can run and roll around. Billy has a medium energy level and would do well with a mix of play time and snuggle time.If you`re looking for a fun and loving companion who enjoys playtime and snugs, Billy is the perfect match for you!

Story
Kitty is a male dog that arrived with Pistachio A909382. They each had been heavily stickered in porcupine needles and patiently waited for while they were all removed! Oh what an endeavor and an adventure not to be repeated for sure. Kitty does not answer to his name so no worry if you want to change it. We`ve noted he`s very interested in watching over his environment much like his breed is known to do. Kitty has had no indoor experience but he`s very gentle on a leash but it`s clear he probably doesn`t prefer being on a leash. He might love a new domain to watch over with benefits and privileges of protection from the elements and some home comforts. He`s advocated for by his friends at ClassicCaninesATX who help build bridges home for mature dogs that arrived to the shelter for safety reasons.--Did you know that we completely cover the cost of heartworm treatment?
