Because of this, he can be reactive when unfamiliar people are frequently coming and going, so he would do best in a quieter home with a calmer environment. With that, he does get startled by fireworks/ loud bang or shooting sounds. He needs a home with proper space to roam, decompress, and feel secure — ideally with someone who understands guardian breeds and can give him the stable environment he deserves. He’s a good boy with a big heart, and this decision comes from wanting what’s best for him.

Sherlock is a very good dog very gentle very sweet, not leash trained more backyard dog. I was going to have a Homestead, but I had an accident and I broke my hip now my landlord has evicted the entire complex and we have 30 days before we won’t have a place to live. We have friends that are taking us in, but they have a lot of cats and they don’t want the dog around the cats.

Hello, my name is Kenai! I am roughly 6-7 years old, I was acquired as a puppy and grew up having a big yard to run around along with two other little Chihuahua friends. I am not indoor potty trained but I know to do my business outside. Over the years my parent has begun to make a life of their own and we've moved various times, i currently no longer have a yard to run around, and greatly miss running to the beat of my own drum. Walks are ok, I do like a long leash. My parents family has begun to grow and the time for walks has gotten cut shorter as the months progress. I am a big O'le goof ball once you get to know me, but I'll make you work for it. New people make me anxious, especially the little ones. Earn my trust and I'll love and cuddle you for any pats and treats. I'm looking for a home where I can run freely or with someone and feel the air under my ears again, a home with someone who is willing to put in the time and effort to earn my trust and I theirs.
