Story

Luna is 7 years old; technically a senior, but don't tell her that. She is very energetic and playful; gets along well with everyone and absolutely HAS TO befriend everyone. She's extremely curious and smart and equally as stubborn. She does know commands, but again, stubborn. If she doesn't want to do something she will sass you before doing it. She's always been an inside dog with love for the outside, unfortunately our new neighbors don't seem to care that she needs her outside time. Her breed is known for barking and Luna is no exception; causing several legal disputes with the neighbors. It's not fair to her to keep her cooped up inside all day. So I'm hoping she can go to a home where she'll sleep inside with lots of free outside time. She's very healthy and with the proper exercise could live for several more years without any problems.

Marroia is Basque for Brown. Marroia's mom is a Great Pyrenees mix. Dad was a one night stand. Marroia was very shy and scared at first, but he is now very friendly and loving.

Mabel found us. About two years ago, my wife and I were on our evening walk with Nola, our Shar-Pei–Lab mix, when a beautiful, loving dog came up to us and followed us home. She had no collar, and our vet found no microchip. We posted her online, but no one ever claimed her. The few shelters we called had no room for such a large dog, so we kept her, and she quickly became part of our family. We vaccinated her and took her to training, and by all measures she is a wonderful dog. She and Nola are a pack and get along well. When our daughter visits with Ollie, her mid-sized goldendoodle, they run and play until they drop, exhausted. When my mother-in-law was in hospice, Mabel loved on everyone. She has a few quirks. She barks at every passing person and dog, and on a leash she gets very excited when other dogs approach. At off-leash parks, she runs with the pack. And she eats a lot.
