Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.HI, I am Blondie Bumstead. I am  a beautiful , two year old spayed Great Pyrenees with a loving personality and a big heart. True to my breed, I exude warmth, gentleness, and a calm demeanor that makes me a favorite wherever I go. Despite my size (70 pounds), I am a gentle giant, always eager to share my affection and bring comfort to those around me. With my huge heart, I am not just a dog, but I  will be a loyal companion for years to come. I am  potty trained, great on leash, loving, sweet, and I don’t jump on humans. The only time I like to jump is when I am exploring new things, but I am a good listener and get down when I am told. Same thing when it comes to barking. I may bark once or twice when a dog walks by my house, but I am just saying hi. I don’t want them to think I am rude. I don’t carry on a conversation for very long, just a quick hello as they pass. I don’t love my crate. My foster mom is working on it with me. I will go in with coaxing, but what can I say, I like my humans and want to be with them. I do stay in my crate for long periods while my foster parents work and I survive. I am great outside my crate at night and sleep on the floor in my foster parents bedroom. I would love to find my forever family soon. I will love you as much as you love me, I promise! Story
Meet Andre – Your Big, Fluffy Shadow of LoveWho says love only comes in small packages? Sometimes it comes in an 85-pound bundle of fluff with soulful eyes and a heart full of snuggles. My name is Andre, and at 6.5 years old, I'm basically a living, breathing teddy bear looking for a forever cuddle buddy (or a whole family of them!).I might be a Great Pyrenees mix—or maybe just a mix of pure adorable—but one thing’s for sure: I’m all about love, loyalty, and snack time. My dream life? Taking walks with my people, playing tug with a furry sibling, keeping watch like the noble guardian I am, and most importantly… snuggling away your loneliness.I know some cool stuff already—like “sit,” “touch,” and “down”—but I’m eager to keep learning! I’m new to the whole 'living indoors with a family' thing, so I’ll need a little guidance as I adjust. What I lack in experience, I make up for in heart and devotion. Honestly, I’d be a fantastic emotional support buddy—I truly need to be near my humans. What if they need a hug and I’m not there??Here’s what I’m looking for:A home with a fenced yard (because zoomies happen).A family without small kiddos—I can be a bit enthusiastic when treats or snuggles are on the line!A confident, playful dog friend would be amazing!Humans who appreciate big love in a big package.I’m affectionate, smart, protective, and full of joy—just waiting for someone to share it all with. If you’re ready for a devoted companion who will love you with everything he’s got, let’s meet.Andre is ready to melt your heart—one snuggle at a time.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This boy is a miracle! He was so fortunate to be found, in the middle of nowhere in Utah, by some very kind people who would not leave him there. Got him to the vet who said he wouldn't have lasted another day. Shot and attacked by coyotes, we have no idea how he got there or how long he'd been out there alone. We called him Amos, Famous Amos after his story made the news. A wonderful foster stepped up and took amazing care of him, nursing him back to health. They called him Iroh and that name has stuck with him.  He has recently moved to a foster in MT to work on a few house manners and finish getting ready for his forever family.  Iroh was just neutered and had a cracked canine removed. He's growing his hair back and gained all the weight he needs to cover his ribs and hips! He's playing with dogs at the dog park, learning to be good with the cat. He loves his walks and is good on a leash. He adores people and all the attention he can get. This sweet boy will just melt your heart and be a wonderful member to any family!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 7:35 pm
