Story
Adi came from a litter in Utah almost 6 years ago. My in-laws have had her for her whole life, but are still in their small condo and working full-time, leaving Adi cooped up inside for most of the day. Adi is a gentle giant! She is very tall but only 70 pounds. She loves being outside in the sun or snow. She loves to play and is good with all other dogs and great with all ages of children. She just has the sweetest personality and I want her to go to a good home where she can get all the snuggles and playtime she needs.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Baymax and I am a 15-month old Great Pyrenees. I am full of love, energy and will make sure to keep you protected. I have a heart-shaped nose for all the love I can give! Unfortunately, I was attacked by an unleashed dog last month while my mom was taking me on a walk, the attack left me with mental trauma that I will need lots of help and training to recover. I am very scared of other dogs and some people. Unfortunately, this traumatic event created fear towards my own brothers (Thor and Loki) whom I was able to socialize perfectly until now. My parents are making the extremely hard decision to find me a new home, a home where I will be the only dog with a parent that has lots of time to give me the proper training that I need in order to gain back my confidence. They are not in a rush to re-home me and so they would love for me to go to a place that has a backyard where I am used to running around to get my zoomies out. I sleep in a crate at night.

Story
Meet Molly! Molly is a 7 month old Great Pyrenees Mix weighing in at 70 pounds. Molly is a gentle, easy-going puppy with a sweet personality and a heart as big as she is! She loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs, and soaking up all the belly rubs she can get. This girl truly lives for love and companionship. She is good with other dogs, kids and and cats. She is crate trained and mostly house trained, but she's still a puppy and may have an occasional accident. She is working on her leash manners and will benefit from continued practice. Molly has typical puppy behavior when it comes to chewing and sometimes needs redirection to appropriate chew toys. Molly has a low-medium energy level. She enjoys leisurely walks, playtime with other dogs, and relaxing with a good chew toy. Regular brushing and occasional baths will keep her fluffy coat looking great! Molly would thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and play. She can be crated during a typical workday and has shown she can adapt to many environments. Another dog would be a great bonus for her, but not required.Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Molly's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Molly, or another CAWS animal, please fill out an application here: http://caws.org/adoption-application. Thank heavens for fosters who literally saved his life!  Just a couple of weeks with them and a virtual session with our behaviorist and Denali is doing fantastic! He adores people and does great with other dogs.  His coat was shaved at a previous shelter due to matting and foxtails, once it grows back he'll be an incredibly fluffy handsome boy. This sweet boy is being fostered in West Jordan, Utah. Please check back soon for updates as he's still quite new to us. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Delilah and her partner Darby came to us after going through quite a lot. Divorce and then neither family wanted them, so they ended up at the shelter. After being pulled, we realized they are not a bonded pair and would do best separated. However, Delilah would love another dog companion. She's currently living with other dogs, cats and young kids.  This is what her foster mom says about her..... Delilah is a sweet 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Akbash. She comes in at 93 pounds. She does great with other dogs, and really needs a doggy companion in the home. She’s also good with cats but she does need a home without any small animals such as rabbits, chickens or ducks. She does great with kids of all ages and really would love to be in a home with them! She's fully house-trained Walks like a dream on a leash Loves being right by you while you're cooking or watching a movie. She does need a fully fenced-in yard ideally 6 feet or higher. She doesn't bark unless she sees something that shouldn't be in her yard. She loves everybody and greets them with a wagging tail. She does have some resource guarding when it comes to her food and treats. So it's recommended she's fed separately. She does tend to eat fast, but she loves eating from her kong and rolling it with her paw or nose. She does need a slow introduction to other animals until she figures out her spot in the pack. Also a home where she isn't alone a lot. Delilah is being fostered in Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Many of the dogs who come to rescue have had a hard life. Coco is only about 2 but has already spent way too much time living on her own and suffering. We don't know if she was dumped or lost, abandoned intentionally. Whatever the case, this young girl has been through a lot.  She found her foster mom by wandering onto her property, and that saved her life. Emaciated and starving, her coat missing fur.  Sweet girl is getting healthy now, her coat is growing back, she's had entropion surgery on both eyes. She's ready for her forever home! Coco adores her Pyr buddy, Ollie, they play a lot! She is even good with the alpacas!! But absolutely no cats for this girl! And she is not ok with chickens either.  Coco loves people and is great with kiddos. She has not been inside much so will probably need some help with house training. She is currently being fostered in Southern Utah.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm
