I'm a sweet and gentle boy who can be a little timid when I first meet you, but once I feel comfortable, my lovely personality starts to shine through. I just need a little patience and reassurance while I find my feet. I'm workable with small dogs and showed confident and friendly behaviour around my smaller canine friends. I interact nicely with them and have show lovely social skills. I'm currently undergoing further cat testing, so we're still learning more about how I feel around my feline friends. I'm workable with children, although older children would be preferred as I can initially be a timid boy. A calm and understanding family who can give me the time and space to build my confidence would suit me beautifully. I have a low prey drive and have shown no interest in chasing behaviours. If you're looking for a gentle, sweet and friendly boy who just needs a little time to settle before showing you his true personality, Corey could be the perfect new addition to your family!

He’s a friendly boy who loves people, enjoys a good pat and is very comfortable around children — he’s even been socialised with children 8 years and older! Flipper travels well in his crate and is a relaxed and chilled passenger. When it comes to walks, he can be a little enthusiastic at first and may pull initially, but once he settles into his walk, he’s not too bad and is happy to enjoy his outing. Flipper has shown himself to be a lovely social boy with other dogs. He had a polite introduction to a small dog; Flipper gave him a sniff and then happily went about his business. With his calm nature, easygoing personality, and gentle spirit, Bear is more interested in enjoying life than racing through it. Wherever Bear goes, he settles in quickly. During his assessment, he adapted easily to a new environment, remained relaxed, and happily took everything in stride. He's the kind of dog who makes himself at home in no time. Bear is a pleasure to walk. He has lovely leash manners, walks calmly by your side, and enjoys exploring without pulling. His laid-back personality makes him an ideal companion for leisurely strolls and relaxed days at home. This sweet boy also has wonderful manners. He showed no signs of resource guarding, even when toys were involved, and demonstrated the calm, trustworthy temperament that makes retired greyhounds such wonderful companions. Bear also met small dogs during his assessment. He was calm and appropriate around them, happily sharing the yard and even chasing a ball alongside a small dog. The only time he became excited was when several small dogs and puppies began splashing and playing in a pool. The sudden movement and excitement briefly caught his attention, but once the activity settled, Bear relaxed right along with it and returned to his easygoing self. Bear is a lovely boy with a kind heart, a relaxed personality, and just enough playful spirit to keep life fun. He's ready to leave his racing days behind and become someone's loyal best friend.
