87 3 Najee is a 4 year old Fawn love-bug. He loves to be around his people, usually finding the most inconvenient place to plop down so that you have to step over or around him – which he totally ignores. He is curious and intelligent. He will immediately go to the newcomer in the house and has been trained not to jump up, but he does get excited. He is cat-friendly, but may play chase if they are up for it. While he sleeps as much as any greyhound, he has lots of energy when he is active. Running and doing 360 degree “spinnies” outside fire him up! He loves to play and run with other greys, but might seem a bit rough with other dogs. Najee is very loyal and trusting to his people, but can be a bit mischievous with other greys. Najee is trained not to get onto furniture, and not to enter one room, so he does respond to loving training. He is table and counter trained, but does show ‘interest.’ Bottom line: a lovable sweetie with the cutest face who will capture your heart

Rebel! He's been really great in his foster home. He was a little nervous out in the backyard the other night with the rain and little bits of thunder, but otherwise has been pretty unphased in figuring things out. He is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly and he is a snuggler. He does well overnight in a kennel and goes in no problem. Very quiet boy. Rebel is 5.5 years old and his Racing name is Replica Rebel.

Hi, I’m Mickey, I’ll be honest with you… the world can feel a little big and overwhelming at first. I might be shy when we meet, and sometimes my nerves get the best of me. But underneath that? I am a really sweet, people-loving guy who just wants connection. I don’t stay unsure for long. Once I feel safe, I lean in—literally. I seek out affection, attention, and reassurance, and I become a very happy, loving companion. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be near you, with you, part of your world.  I’ve got a playful, active side too! Right now, I love to run (a lot!), so a fenced yard would make me very happy. Toys are still a bit new to me, but I’m starting to figure them out. Walks? We’re working on that—I can get a little unsure and would rather head back home—but with patience, I know I’ll get there.  And when it comes to cuddling… oh, I’m all in. I might bring a little chaotic energy at first (okay, maybe I’ll bounce off you once or twice ), but then I settle in and just want to be close. I really do love my people. What I’m Looking For: I’m going to thrive with someone who understands that confidence takes time to build. I’ll need: Patience and encouragement as I continue learning the world is safe A consistent routine to help me feel secure Continued support with potty and crate training A home that can manage my energy (and ideally has a fenced yard!) I’m still learning, but I’m trying—and I’m worth it. A Few Honest Notes (Because You Deserve That): I’m still working on potty and crate training I may have accidents if left too long—I’m not quite ready for a full workday alone yet I can be a little sensitive around food with other dogs, so thoughtful management is important But here’s the thing… I’m improving every day. And once I’m settled, I am a really happy, loving dog who just wants to belong.  Why You’ll Love Me Because when you choose me, you’re not just getting a dog—you’re getting a companion who will grow with you, trust you deeply, and love you in that quiet, meaningful way that only a once-shy dog can. If you’re willing to give me a little time… I promise I’ll give you my whole heart.
