You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pascal has had a pretty lengthy history with us. He was originally adopted from us back in 2019 when he was 1-2 years old. He enjoyed life in that home until March, 2025, when he was returned to us due to separation anxiety that didn't mesh with his family's busy schedule. He was adopted again in April, 2025 and returned recently due to the same issue. He is now 8 years old and on the hunt for a new home. He is fully vetted and his fee is $125. Pascal is a large guy and his breed mix is anyone's guess, but we're thinking greyhound and Plott hound, just to name a couple possible options. He's a handsome dude who, unfortunately, is quite overweight now at 104 pounds. He's looking for a nice place to land with someone who is home most of the time. He needs someone who is willing and able to work with him on a weight loss plan. He would love a securely fenced yard in which to romp. He is a very sensitive soul who bonds very closely to his people. At this time in his life, we do think he'd prefer to be the only pet in a home. He is the sweetest boy!! NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. Yogi is a 5-1/2 year old handsome black boy from New Zealand. He’s very much a Velcro boy who will follow you everywhere. Yogi has been living in an adoptive home for 9 months, but his mom has come to the sad realization that he would be better as an only dog, as he has recently not been getting along well with his greyhound brother. He has enough energy that he’d do best in a home with a fenced yard, and perhaps with at least one parent who doesn’t work full-time because he does strongly prefer a midday potty break, and he does get a bit anxious when left by himself. He loves, loves, loves furry squeak toys, and he’ll always claim the comfy dog bed closest to his human.

Turbo Mabel, R 93C, L 75799Hi, I’m Mabel! I love toys, a warm bed, and galloping around the yard! I am calm but also incredibly playful, and friendly when I feel like it. I am a good listener, and have an independent streak—I do ok in my crate, and while I like people, I don’t need to be around them all the time, but I also don’t really like to be left alone. I am a complicated lady! I have been told I have some issues around sharing, but I can work through them with training and patience. I am also not the biggest fan of leash walking, but honestly do you know about winter? Gross. I sometimes bark when I have something to say, and I sometimes like to chew things that maybe aren’t for chewing. But I also listen well to commands, and love getting pets.
