Story
Smore was a stray we took in about six weeks ago, hoping to keep him safe while we found his owner. He is microchipped, but none of the contact info associated with his chip is current, and no one has responded to our social media posts. We did find out that he is around a year and a half old, so still a young guy. He is up to date on his shots and neutered. He is very well behaved in the house and walks well on a leash, although he does get excited when he sees other dogs. He gets along well with our dogs, both medium to large. He also does well with my school-aged children. He does not get along with cats, unfortunately. He will need someone with a secure fence and the ability to walk him so he can explore and exercise. He loves car rides, too. He really is the sweetest big teddy bear. If I didn't have a cat, I would keep him.

Story
Meet Gaston! The most handsome guy around! I found him wandering around about 2.5 months ago. I checked all lost sites; wasn't microchipped, and had no tags on him. He came home with me temporarily, but the person I had who was going to adopt him decided it no longer worked out with their travel schedule. I got him neutered, his shots, heart-worm neg, and microchipped. He has A LOT of energy because he is young + he is a true husky--he's escaped my backyard countless times. Needs high fences. ;) He really LOVES dog parks, and he NEEDS exercise. I have three older dogs who don't match his energy level. The only aggression I have seen is food aggression, so I feed my dogs separately from him. Gaston is VERY intelligent--he has learned to "Sit," "Stay," and "lay down" pretty quickly. He is crate-trained during the day while I work (along with my other dogs). We do have a xxxx@xxxx.x CANNOT be around cats. He seems to have a high prey-drive.
