Zari is 17 weeks old. She was given to us by a couple going through a divorce. We tried to help out but realize that we do not at this time have time for a pet. She is friendly with people including our children.

Meet Dakota! She is an 8 year old Siberian husky with a sweet soul and a beautifully expressive personality. She weighs about 60 lbs, is crate trained, and does well with other dogs. Dakota is gentle, affectionate, playful and loves adventure. She came into foster rescue as she was not able to join along with her previous family in a move to California. Now she’s ready for a forever family who will give her the love and stability that she deserves. She is energetic and loves to be outside, going on runs, hikes and walks. She is very calm and relaxed when we’re at home, but always gets excited for adventure! Dakota would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal and cheerful pup.

Josie is a 2 year old dachshund/corgi mix weighing 17lbs. She is completely house/crate trained. Josie loves to play with other dogs her size, but is a little timid around larger dogs. She would be fine with older kids. She loves her people! Josie loves walks and is doing well with leash training. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.June 20, 2026, 2:37 am
