WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Lady — Gentle Soul, Quiet Companion, Blossoming Beauty 🐾✨ Hi… I’m Lady 💛 I’m about 10 months old, 25 pounds, and if I’m being honest… I’m still figuring this big, busy world out. I may be a little shy when we first meet—you might have to come get me (I like to pretend it’s a game of “you can’t catch me,” but I promise I’m not very committed to winning 😅). Once you do, though? I melt. Soft pets, kind voices, and gentle patience are my absolute favorite things. I’m what they call a “gentle heart.” I don’t have a mean bone in my body—just a sensitive soul who wants to feel safe and loved. And once I do? Oh… I start to shine. ✨ I love other dogs—they help me feel brave and show me that everything’s going to be okay. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home would be like having my own emotional support buddy. Some of my favorite things: - Going on walks (I’m actually really good on a leash!) - Checking in to make sure you’re still there… because you’re important 💛 - Quietly hanging out near you like your polite little shadow - Learning that the world isn’t so scary after all I’m not the chaotic, zoomy type—I’m more of a “let’s take a peaceful walk and then sit together in comfortable silence” kind of girl. Think cozy companion, not party animal. Because I’m still building my confidence, I’d do best in a calmer home without small children. Lots of noise and fast movement can feel overwhelming for me—but with patience, love, and time, I’m blossoming more every single day. 🌼 What I really need is someone who sees me—not just the shy beginnings, but the loving, loyal dog I’m becoming. Someone who will go at my pace, celebrate my little victories, and let me grow into the confident girl I’m meant to be. I promise, I’m worth the wait. So if you’ve got a kind heart, a little patience, and maybe a friendly dog who wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes… I’d love to be your Lady. Apply today at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛

Story
Animal Information: Jameson is an estimated 2-year-old, male, and a Corgi/Cavalier mix (this is our best guess) currently weighing approximately 28lbs . The shelter environment was overwhelming for him, and he’s been a bit shut down in his kennel, but he has remained incredibly sweet and submissive with staff throughout. In playgroups,  Jameson  was neutral with other dogs and more interested in calmly exploring and sniffing around the yard than roughhousing. When a larger male dog attempted to mount him,  Jameson  gave an appropriate correction and then calmly went back to doing his own thing without any issue. Since his arrival, he has been introduced to several dogs at the Rescue Center, and he has been friendly with everyone. He loves hanging out in the office with us while we work.   Jameson  is a soft, gentle soul who is eager to connect with people. Watch his shelter video here: Jameson ’s Video  Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Speedy! Speedy is a 2½-year-old, 29 lb Corgi/Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter—and he’s truly as awesome as his name suggests! This guy has an amazing temperament. Speedy is fun, outgoing, and full of life. He’s the kind of dog who’s always ready for whatever the day brings—whether that’s a hike, a playdate, or just tagging along on your daily adventures. Speedy absolutely loves people and other dogs. He’s super social and thrives on interaction, playtime, and being part of the action. If you’ve got an active and social lifestyle and enjoy being out and about, Speedy will fit right in as your go-to adventure buddy. He’s playful, energetic, and just an all-around happy, loving dog who wants to be everyone’s best friend. He’d do great in a home that will keep him active, socialized, and included in all the fun. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and energetic companion who’s always ready to go, Speedy might just be your perfect match! Speedy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Jojo! Jojo is a 7-month-old, 19 lb Bulldog/Corgi mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This adorable girl is full of personality, puppy charm, and playful energy! Jojo can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she turns into a confident, goofy, and very playful pup. She loves having fun, exploring the world, and being part of the action! She does well with other dogs and would especially love to have another well-adjusted canine companion in the home to be her playmate, help show her the ropes, and continue building her confidence as she grows. Jojo is still very much a puppy and will need a home prepared for all the training, structure, patience, and guidance that comes with raising a young dog. She’s energetic, curious, and eager to experience life, so she’ll thrive in a home committed to keeping her well-socialized and giving her an active, outgoing lifestyle. She can also be a bit vocal and barky at times, so she would do best in a standalone home rather than an apartment or condo setting. Jojo is beautiful, adorable, and full of potential. With the right home, she’s going to grow into an amazing companion and adventure buddy. If you’re looking for a fun, playful pup with lots of personality and love to give, Jojo might just be your perfect match! Jojo is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Harley! This chubby little girl is the most adorable girl you will ever meet. She likes spending time with you, she loves playing with the ball but she prefers time by your side more. When I say she's really adorable, it's because she is! She plays with other dogs, small, medium or large, she lives with cats although sometimes she usually runs after them to play (And cats that are not used to dogs don't like that) Potty trained with potty pads, crate trained, and good with adults and children. With strangers she is usually sociable, she is a very curious, loyal dog, and ready to play with you and receive cuddles at all times. She loves to give you kisses on the face, give you her paw to play with and she will always receive you from work with a huge smile. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Owen. I'm a cute stubby guy, they say.  I ended up at a shelter and was put on the euthanasia list, but I got really lucky and was given a second chance. I’m a sweet, happy, easygoing guy who is always wagging my tail and ready to make new friends. I LOVE people and do great with all dogs I meet. Playing with my dog friends is one of my favorite things, and I’m happiest just being part of the family. I’m also an easy house guest — I’m not a barker, and I use the potty door like a pro. I sit nicely for bath time and am eager to please. I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and I’m 4DX negative. My adoption fee is $400. If you think we might be a good match, you can apply for me at www.adoggie4you.org. I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. (I’m not able to travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state rules.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 23, 2026, 12:05 pm

Story
Animal Information: Wheatly is an estimated 3.5-year-old, male, Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix currently weighing approximately 22lbs. Wheatly has a lot of notes from our rescue partner in Texas so we thought we would share what we know: "Wheatly isn’t just a good dog — he’s a true glue dog. The kind who bonds deeply with one person and wants to be your quiet little shadow through every part of the day.   Rescued from a large hoarding situation, Wheatly has truly come into his own in foster care. He has learned how to relax, trust, and enjoy the comforts of a calm home, and he has proven to be an incredibly easy, reliable companion.   Wheatly is fully house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and has excellent home manners. He settles beautifully in the house, can be left loose overnight without any issues, and simply enjoys being near his person. He carries a wonderful, moderate energy level — happy to play and explore outdoors, but just as content relaxing quietly at your feet or curled up beside you.   What makes Wheatly truly special is how naturally he bonds. He prefers connection over chaos and has a lovely habit of staying close and checking in with his human, making him an ideal match for someone looking for a loyal sidekick to share everyday life with. He enjoys outdoor time, car rides, and being included in routines — happiest when he knows he belongs right by your side.   Wheatly does well with other gentle, respectful dogs, but his strongest attachment will always be to his person. "   Please keep in mind these notes are from our rescue partner. We will update Wheatly's profile once he is settled into a foster home here in the Seattle area. Foster Profile : Wheatley is a velcro darling. He is a sweet gentle boy who just wants to snuggle with his humans as much as possible. He loves to burrow under blankets (this Texas boy is still getting used to the PNW) and he loves playing fetch and strolling around the neighborhood looking for bunnies. Wheatley prefers interacting with humans and has shown little interest in playing with our resident dog. He would be best as the only dog in the home. He is house trained, leash trained and sleeps overnight in his crate without issue. He would make a wonderful devoted companion for someone who loves neighborhood walks and cuddling on the couch, dog parks are not his thing. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from our rescue partner Texas. He will be transferred via Furry Freight Transport, arriving to foster care on 4/12/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.May 23, 2026, 11:22 am
