Story
Animal Information: Meet Bennett! He is the last of an accidental  litter, his siblings were given away, his family surrendered him to Washington Health Outreach, they reached out and asked for our help. Mom is 57 lbs and dad is aprox 71 lbs, both pretty pyr husky shep type mixes. fully vetted has lived with dogs cats kids Foster Profile:  Bennett is a cuddly fluff ball. He has big feet, which makes us believe he will grow to be a good size.  He gets along with dogs, people, everyone but is a little timid. We are working on his confidence. He does not bark at other dogs. He loves to play and is not aggressive. He is learning how to play fetch and will chase items and bring them back about 5x and then he is done. He is cute, inquisitive and he loves to have a little open space to run. He especially loves when our house dog will let him chase after her. He stays calm if other dogs are a little aggressive, he will just sit and watch.  He is crate trained but we are still working on his house training. He is also doing pretty good at his leash work and loves to just bop along on walks. He knows “sit", “down", does not try and get on the furniture and he will completely listen to a simple “no”. He has started to love flip flops as a chew toy but when corrected and given one of his toys he is content. He doesn’t seem to like doggy beds but has found a comfy spot in our blanket basket which he will curl up and sleep on. He also routinely sleeps at the base of your feet or he will go into his crate. He is a very sweet, and special guy. We are looking for a single family home with a securely fenced yard and a friendly resident dog. We are not considering apartments for him at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Amira — Still Waiting for Her Once-in-a-Lifetime Person 🐾✨ Female • Husky • ~2 Years • ~45 lbs Amira has been patient. - Patient while raising her babies. - Patient while watching other dogs find their homes. - Patient while waiting for her turn — her person, her family, her moment to finally be someone’s everything. Now it’s her time, her time to just breathe, her time to shine, her time to be the center of your universe. At around 2 years old and 45 pounds, Amira is the perfect mix of sweetness and spirit. She carries herself with quiet confidence, soft eyes, and that unmistakable Husky sparkle that says, “Life is an adventure… and I’d really like to share it with you.” She’s affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully balanced. She enjoys playtime and outdoor activity, but she also appreciates calm connection — the kind where she can simply sit beside you and feel safe, chosen, and home. Amira is great with kids and other dogs, bringing a steady, reassuring presence wherever she goes. Cats are still unknown, but with thoughtful introductions, she may do just fine. Now, because she is a Husky, let’s sprinkle in just a dash of reality: this girl is athletic and clever. Fences are more like “suggestions” in her world. She’ll thrive in a home committed to leash walks, secure outings, and including her in adventures rather than leaving her to entertain herself. She doesn’t want to run away — she wants to run with you. And truly, that’s what she wants most — to be with her person. After spending her early adulthood caring for others, she’s ready to be cared for. Ready for long walks, silly moments, cozy evenings, and the simple joy of belonging. She deserves a home where she’s not just a dog in the yard — but a cherished companion in the heart of the family. Amira isn’t loud about her wishes. She doesn’t demand attention. She just waits, hopeful, for someone to see her and say, “That’s my girl.” If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, adventure-ready best friend who will meet you at every sunrise and settle beside you at every sunset, Amira is ready. She’s been patient long enough. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet girl the forever she’s been quietly dreaming of. 💙🐾

Story
FOSTER NEEDED NOW 4/20  Email toni@doggoneseattle.org Animal Information: Maple and her brother Moose were surrendered to our rescue by a Good Samaritan. While visiting friends on reservation land, she noticed two very emaciated puppies wandering outside. Sadly, a third puppy from the same group had already passed away, likely due to malnutrition. The puppies did not have access to food or water. Seeing their condition, she made the decision to bring Maple and Moose home and began searching for a rescue in the Seattle area that could take them in. After meeting the puppies, we agreed to help and bring them into our care. Maple and Moose are estimated to be around 3.5 months old and currently weigh under 10 pounds each. Their parents are known on the property. Their mother is a Siberian Husky mix and their father is an Australian Shepherd. They are now safe and receiving the care they need as they begin their journey toward healthy, happy lives. Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Story
Hey, I'm Inu, 3yr old Husky mix, around 55 lbs. Am I ever "Inu".... see what I did there? I am a sweet boy who is ready for my new forever home. I get along great with people of all sizes and all the other doggos. I am not a fan of cats so please, let’s not try that! I am a bigger boy so keep that in mind if you have little people cos I could knock them over, but I would make an awesome walking / running / hiking partner with the big-uns! If you think you and I might just make the perfect pairing, then please check me out asap! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
