  Animal Information: Maple and her brother Moose were surrendered to our rescue by a Good Samaritan. While visiting friends on reservation land, she noticed two very emaciated puppies wandering outside. Sadly, a third puppy from the same group had already passed away, likely due to malnutrition. The puppies did not have access to food or water. Seeing their condition, she made the decision to bring Maple and Moose home and began searching for a rescue in the Seattle area that could take them in. After meeting the puppies, we agreed to help and bring them into our care. Maple and Moose are estimated to be around 3.5 months old and currently weigh under 10 pounds each. Their parents are known on the property. Their mother is a Siberian Husky mix and their father is an Australian Shepherd. They are now safe and receiving the care they need as they begin their journey toward healthy, happy lives. Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Animal Profile: Wiley is a 1-year-old male Lab/Husky  X (guessing) who joined us along with his siblings from Texas. The puppies were taken from an overcrowded property by Animal Control and went into foster care with our rescue partner. Wiley is a happy sweet pup, doing well in his foster home, friendly with dogs, and older kids. Foster Update:   Wiley is a smart, fluffy goofball who is both crate trained and house trained. He knows all his basic commands, has an energetic and playful style, and walks nicely on leash. He spent several weeks in the care of a professional trainer, is e-collar trained, and continues to build confidence every day. Wiley has been enjoying the great outdoors of the PNW and has even started going to work with his foster, where he’s meeting lots of new people. He takes some time to warm up but forms strong bonds once he trusts you. Wiley would do best as the only dog in an active home with someone who has breed experience and a securely fenced yard. He is not a good fit for toddlers, though older children with dog experience should be fine. He’s also a bit of a talker, so an apartment setting wouldn’t be ideal. Animal Information: Max is an estimated 11 week old Australian Shepherd mix puppy currently weighing approximately 10 lbs. Max was confiscated after being found with multiple broken ribs from a suspected animal abuse case. Even with this rough start, Max appears to be a pretty normal puppy. He is a bit scared of loud noises. We are so happy to be bringing Max to the Seattle area in search of his forever family. Foster Profile:  Our family has fostered Max since he was 12 weeks old. He’s currently about 25 pounds. He quickly adapted to his environment. We have two other male dogs. Max has a great disposition and gets along well with both my adult dog and my teenage dog. Max has been around kids ranging from 6 to 17 . We have a fairly busy household, and he doesn’t seem to mind. He is a joy to have around. Max is highly food-motivated, slightly alpha and can hold his own with bigger dogs with whom he plays all the time. He is a super fluffy, white and tan coat. He doesn’t show any signs of shedding yet he smells good and is fully potty trained. He hasn’t had an accident in our house in over a month. Max loves to play outside and explore like every puppy. He has great recall and will come to the word “treat” when he gets distracted. He can be crated, but prefers to sleep with the pack. In the mornings, he is super snuggly and nibbles your ears. He is such an amazing dog and will make a great companion for somebody special. I think he would do well in an active family home or a home that has other dogs. Foster Update:  Sienna is a one year-old Lab/Husky mix with a gentle spirit and an independent streak. She can be shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people. Sienna is food-motivated (smart girl alert) and already has basic manners like sit, down, crate and potty training down pat. She walks beautifully on leash when she’s comfortable, sleeps soundly through the night in her crate with no accidents, and is always up for a game of fetch or a joyful toy romp in the yard.  Sienna absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a furry canine friend. Once she feels safe, she is sweet, playful, and full of gentle affection. She is timid around men and will need time, consistency, and patience to build trust. She has been friendly with the children in her foster home, but due to her shy nature we are not considering homes with small children. Older teens may be considered. Sienna should not live with cats, as she has a strong prey drive and would be inclined to chase them. Sienna is just waiting for the right family who will move at her pace and help her shine. Hi, meet sweet Caitlin who's around 5 yrs old. She’s got soulfully sad blue eyes and a beautiful mask. She's a shy girl with humans but loves other dogs, they seem to be her security blanket so it's best she lives in a home with other dogs, and she is great with dogs any sizes even ok with cats! Her previous foster was very patient and slowly helped her learn to trust. She's crate trained and house trained. She's just a sweet shy girl who needs a patient owner to shower her with love but also give her space too. She's deserving of a wonderful home to love and be loved.
