During her Doggie Day Out, she showed herself to be an active little explorer who enjoys being petted, playing with toys, and soaking in all the love.She did well riding in the car, especially when a pup cup was involved (big fan!). At home, Eloise loved playing in the backyard, chasing after a tennis ball, and relaxing inside on a comfy dog bed for some TV time and cuddles, she was fast asleep in no time.On walks, Eloise can pull on leash when she gets excited and is curious about passing people and dogs. She’s still learning the basics and doesn’t know commands like sit or stay yet, but she’s eager and would benefit from continued training and gentle guidance. She was a bit uneasy around stairs, so a patient home willing to help her build confidence would be ideal.Overall, Eloise had a very easygoing day and showed she can settle nicely after activity. With consistency, love, and a little training, this affectionate explorer will make a wonderful companion.

Kane was rescued at age 2 from Front Street Shelter. He is a wonderful family dog. He is 7 years old, is in great health, and is very energetic. I can no longer provide the time and attention he deserves due to a change of circumstances in my life. He is absolutely beautiful and loyal. He can live with other dogs, but not cats.

I have two dogs. One German shepherd, and one husky. They have been together since they were both less than 4 months old and I’d like them to stay together. They are about 6.5 years old. And they are both non aggressive toward people. Ghost is a white husky, he loves to lick you and get attention. He also loves to dig, and he loves soft toys. He likely is only good with other dogs around his size. Damu is a German shepherd who also loves attention. He loves to get pet on his belly. He is harmless, but will bark at people he does not know. He is likely good with post other pets, but unknown. They have lived both inside and outside and outside and are crate trained. I am rehoming them because unfortunately I don’t have the time to give them the proper attention they deserve. I would like the to go to a home that can give them more attention and consistent walks.

Nitro is a 4 year-old male born April 11, 2021. He is a loving sweet pup.. He’s been raised in a family home. He gets along with familiar dogs, unknown if he gets along with cats. He is up-to-date on all shots. He has not neutered. Crate, trained, and fully housebroken. Not aggressive at all super mellow personality. We use a mobile groomer for years now he behaves really well and loves to be groomed. Loves to lay at your feet or just follow you around. Loves treats and attention. Walks well on a leash. Our son has allergies to him and it has increasing become worse over the years. We’re looking for a loving home with kids or without. Willing to drive 100 miles if family is the right fit.

Rascal is a young chow mix around 1.5 to 2 years old. He is adorable and very small for a chow. He is a higher energy guy that loves to run zoomies in the backyard. After his time playing outside he loves to come inside and cuddle up next to you for lots of belly rubs, scratches and pets. He enjoys playing with other playful energetic dogs. Rascal was rescued from the shelter after being picked up with his ear flap torn. We got him out and took him to ER where he was treated with daily bandage changes and then surgery to remove the flap of his ear. He hears great since the actual ear was not affected. He was such a good boy duriing all of his vet care. He is friendly with people and other dogs. He enjoys chewing on a chew bone or antler. He has not been around cats and we have not had him around children. He would do well in a home with an active person that can give him exercise and playtime. Another playful dog would be great and a fenced in yard is required. If you are chow experienced and looking for a playful and very loving cuddly boy who is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and on heartworm prevention then submit an application on Rascal by going to our website www.chowsplus.org
