Story
Daisy is a purebred Siberian Husky that is 7 years old. She is a very cheerful and friendly dog that gets along well with most other dogs and people. She is house broken and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, come here, and leave it. She is an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise and so would do well with someone that has an active lifestyle and would love a big yard to run around in. She is not up to date on her vaccinations but she has been spayed and is in good health. We need to find her a new home ASAP, our space and schedule are just not cutting it for her high-energy needs.

Story
Meet Apollo 💙 Apollo is an 8-year-old husky mix who has been with me since 2020 as a foster “fail.” He’s full of personality—sassy, playful, and affectionate—and loves lounging with you for belly rubs. He does great on walks, enjoys being outside, and is comfortable in his kennel. When left alone inside, he does best when kenneled, as he occasionally will “mark” his territory. However with a good routine, it’s manageable. As my schedule has become busier, I’m no longer able to give Apollo the time, attention, and exercise he truly deserves. This decision comes from a place of love—I want to find him a home where he can thrive, and get the consistent companionship he needs. Apollo would likely do best with someone familiar with huskies and their needs. Please reach out if you’d like to learn more. 💙

Story
Braxton is a little over two years old, and we’ve had the joy of sharing our lives with him since April 2025. When he first came to us, he was very much a puppy trapped in a large dog’s body—curious, unsure, and still learning how the world works. Over the past several months, he has grown into a much more confident, thoughtful dog, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to walk alongside him on his journey of exploration and healing. We suspect he may have had some difficult experiences earlier in life, which makes his progress even more meaningful.Braxton is a very gentle soul. While we haven’t personally seen him live with other dogs, based on his temperament we believe he would likely get along with them. According to the shelter’s records shared with interested adopters, he may chase cats, though we’ve seen so much positive behavioral change in the last 10 months that we feel this could be worked on with patience and training. One of Braxton’s favorite things in the world is belly rubs—which he enthusiastically requests using his paws, often forgetting just how sharp his nails can be. Over time, he’s learned to ask more gently after realizing that his nails can hurt, though the instinct hasn’t disappeared entirely. It’s all part of his charm.Braxton is very attentive to his surroundings. He listens closely to emergency service sirens and has even howled a few times on his own. With a little encouragement, he’s also shown he can howl on cue. Recently, he’s begun barking when he senses someone at the door, a clear sign of the confidence he’s been building. He responds well to training and understands several verbal cues, including sit, down, heel (both by voice and finger-pointing behind you), and watch me, especially during treat time—where he now focuses on the cue instead of the treat itself. Structure is important to him: before walks, he sits and stays while the door is open and waits until he’s released with the cue “all done.” The same routine applies at mealtimes. He’s fed in the morning and again between 5–6 PM, and he patiently stays down, watching the person serving his food, until he’s released to eat.Because of his size and ongoing training, we feel Braxton would do best in a home without children under 10 years old—not because he’s aggressive, but because he’s still learning to fully understand his size. He has shown some discomfort when surrounded by loud environments, such as being on the same floor with 10–12 teenagers, bu

Story
Meet Apollo  — proof that the best things come in low-rider packages.Apollo looks like a Husky who forgot to grow his legs… and honestly, it works for him. With his all-white coat, sturdy 52-pound build, and short legs (think Corgi or Basset vibes), he’s impossible to miss and even harder to forget.Personality-wise, Apollo is pure sunshine. He’s got that classic Corgi spark—full of life, fun, and a little mischief—paired with Husky confidence and charm. This guy loves to party with his friends in the play yard and brings joyful, social energy wherever he goes. If there’s fun happening, Apollo wants in.Despite his stout build, he’s surprisingly agile and always ready for adventure, laughs, and good times. He’s the kind of dog who will keep you smiling, make your days brighter, and remind you not to take life too seriously.Apollo is looking for a home that appreciates a big personality in a short-legged body and is ready for a loyal, playful companion who lives life at full volume (with extra wiggles).Ready to add a little legend to your life?
