Story
ay hello to Pear, a sweet and social husky mix who’s as delightful as his name. With his soft coat, soulful eyes, and gentle personality, Pear is ready to wiggle his way into your heart—and maybe your dog’s too!Pear is especially great with other dogs and seems to thrive in the company of canine companions. Whether he`s politely sniffing a new friend or playfully trotting around the yard with a buddy, Pear knows how to keep things friendly and fun.He would be a wonderful addition to a home with another well-matched dog who can share in his love of doggy friendship. This boy has that classic husky curiosity and intelligence, but he brings it with a calm, sweet demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. Pear enjoys being near his people, loves a good petting session, and would be just as happy on a long walk as she would lounging at your feet.

Story
Starshine is a beautiful, sensitive soul who’s slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Like many dogs who’ve experienced stress and uncertainty, she needs a bit of time and patience—but the glimpses we’ve seen of her affectionate, intelligent personality make it clear: she’s worth the wait. When Starshine first arrived at the shelter, she was understandably overwhelmed. New people, loud sounds, unfamiliar handling—it was all a lot for her. She’s not quick to offer trust, but when she does, it’s genuine and heartwarming.Starshine is currently paired with a playful retriever mix, and they’re doing beautifully together—interacting appropriately and showing healthy dog-dog communication. She has shown that she can be vocal and assertive when correcting another dog’s behavior (especially if boundaries are crossed), but she does so appropriately and with clear communication.

Story
Say hello to Apple, a bright and affectionate husky mix with a heart as full as her fluffy tail. With her soft eyes and gentle personality, Apple has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite—and it`s easy to see why!Apple is friendly, easygoing, and especially shines around other dogs. She thrives in the company of canine companions and would love a home with a playful dog friend (or two!). Whether it’s chasing each other in the yard, sharing sniffs on a walk, or just lounging side by side, Apple is all about those positive dog-to-dog vibes.Despite her husky heritage, Apple isn’t all go-go-go. She has a nice balance of energy and calm. She`s happy to play and explore, but she also knows how to relax and enjoy the moment. She’s the kind of dog who could go on a morning hike and then spend the afternoon snoozing in the shade.
