She can sit, down, wait, and even fix her own leash while on a walk. She is crate trained and does well with every person and dog she meets. She is a young dog with lots of energy looking for a husky-savvy home that can give her the exercise and enrichment she needs to thrive. Interested in this furry companion? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. *PLEASE NOTE* Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them! We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us! We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications! We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community! With a passionate team we are a foster-based animal rescue, partnering with the community to provide shelter and resources prioritizing the animals’ well-being. Every adoption fee directly helps a rescued animal make it safely from a shelter to a loving home. As a nonprofit, we put these fees right back into vet care, food, transport, and all the support to help the next animal. You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!

Story
Meet Melli! Melli is a 3-year-old husky mix with a super sweet, gentle personality. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and is very well behaved. Melli is fully deaf, but she’s adapted wonderfully—she understands hand signals and routines, and loves being part of the family. She’s affectionate, calm, and loves to snuggle. Melli’s only special need is a home that can provide a little extra awareness and a safe environment, but otherwise, she’s an easy and loving companion. Melli comes with her bed, toys, and a guide to her hand signals!

Story
Meet Gentle – A Calm and Loving Alaskan Husky Gentle is an Alaskan Husky with a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. He has always been more of a laid-back, home-loving dog rather than high-energy, and is very self-reliant. Much of his day is happily spent relaxing or napping. He is well trained on leash and walks calmly and obediently. Gentle enjoys walks and hiking at a comfortable pace and does very well in relaxed outdoor settings. Gentle has never shown aggression—he has never fought with another dog and has never harmed a person. His temperament is gentle, soothing, and friendly, making him a great companion. The only thing to note is that if food or trash is left accessible, he will assume it’s fair game—so keeping food secured is important. Gentle does require a quality diet, and I’m happy to follow up with any adopter to explain his food requirements and routine in detail. I am placing Gentle up for adoption due to my upcoming active-duty service.

Story
Meet Finn — Goofy, Loyal, and Full of Personality Finn is a one-of-a-kind Husky mix with a heart as big as his personality. Diagnosed with Wobbler’s Syndrome, he walks with a slightly wobbly gait — which only makes him more endearing — and has a funny, expressive way of moving through life. This boy is equal parts silly, sweet, dramatic, and loyal. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, Finn might be your guy. He’s a full-time companion and a part-time comedian. He talks (a lot), makes a full production out of bedtime (complete with towel-rolling and bed-making), and will gently swat you with his paw if you’re not giving him enough attention. He’s a towel fanatic, a food thief, a cuddle bug, and a master of dramatic zoomies. Finn’s Ideal Home: Finn needs a home that will embrace his quirks and give him the time he needs to settle in. He adjusts slowly — often taking several weeks to truly recognize and trust his people and surroundings. Once he does, though, he bonds deeply and becomes your devoted, hilarious shadow. Preferably an only pet. Finn can live with other dogs, but he’s had occasional scuffles (usually over space or food). He chases cats when they move, which keeps them stressed — he won’t hurt them, but it’s not ideal for them. Adults or families with older kids. He loves children, but his big, excited energy could easily knock over smaller ones. House preferred over apartment. Finn is fairly lazy most of the day, but he reacts loudly to nighttime noises like trains or coyotes. He’s not an escape artist, but he’s vocal and sensitive to sound. An experienced, patient owner. Someone who understands decompression, doesn’t expect instant perfection, and can manage a few ongoing quirks (like occasional indoor peeing or counter surfing). Daily Life: Finn is a laid-back guy for most of the day, but he has two playful energy bursts — around 3 PM and 7 PM — and happily joins in on a daily 2–3 mile run. While he enjoys activity, he doesn't require a high-energy lifestyle to be content.. Lazy Sundays are his jam. He sleeps on the bed (with flair) and insists on being part of the daily routine — especially if towels are involved Finn isn't for everyone — but for the right person or family, he’s going to be the dog of a lifetime. If you're looking for a loyal companion with tons of personality, a big goofy heart, and a few quirks that make him uniquely lovable, Finn just might be your new best friend. Apply to meet him, today! **Finn's adoption fee has been sponsored in full by a generous donor in memory of their beloved dog, Jaida.**
