Story
Hi! I`m Suzie and I am a happy and active lady who is looking for a home without young children. I am house trained, crate trained, good in the car and enjoy going on walks. My family says I am playful, loving and fun. I will need a home where I can be the only dog because I don`t like to share my things with my friends, I can also be rambunctious but I have a good history meeting other dogs while out on adventures. Come and meet me!

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Zuki Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Zuki: This adorable girl is ready for her forever home! From Their Previous Shelter: Meeting another dog - https://youtube.com/shorts/vzO3c7ocfgM Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/Dk0RDVZivzI Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/ibcClvcaKPY?feature=share Meet Zuki, a two year old spayed husky mix weighing 33 pounds with one stunning blue eye and one soft brown eye that perfectly reflect her gentle soul. Zuki has known far too much instability in her short life. She was originally adopted from a local shelter, later given away, and heartbreakingly found chained to a tree during a snowstorm, left in freezing temperatures to fend for herself. Despite all she has been through, Zuki remains incredibly sweet, loving, and trusting. She absolutely adores other dogs and lights up when she gets to play with them. Her playful nature is balanced beautifully with a calm and easygoing side, making her a joy to have around. Zuki is food motivated and eager to please, which has helped her shine during training and evaluations. Zuki walks well on a leash and appears to be potty trained. She has been used for assessments with other dogs and did wonderfully, showing excellent manners during both leash and food evaluations. Her gentle temperament and social skills have quickly made her a shelter staff favorite and a truly good girl in every sense. Now Zuki is ready for what she has always deserved: safety, stability, and a loving home that will never fail her again. She is looking for a family who will show her the good life, provide security, and remind her every day that she is cherished. Zuki has given nothing but love despite being abandoned more than once, and she is ready to give her whole heart to a forever home where she can finally stay for good. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will thrive with love and consistency, Zuki is ready to meet you and start her happily ever after. Interested in this furry companion? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. *PLEASE NOTE* Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them! We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us! We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications! We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community! With a passionate team we are a foster-based animal rescue, partnering with the community to provide shelter and resources prioritizing the animals’ well-being. Every adoption fee directly helps a rescued animal make it safely from a shelter to a loving home. As a nonprofit, we put these fees right back into vet care, food, transport, and all the support to help the next animal. You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!

Story
Nina had a rough start to life. She came to Animal Friends with urine scalding and a wet behind. The talented team quickly found out that she was experiencing incontinence. Despite having medical troubles at such a young age Nina is the example of a perfect husky! She is incredibly talkative, she loves to let you know what she thinks, especially if she feels as though she is being left out! She loves her dog friends and will happily play all day long if you let her! She is wicked smart and has mastered sitting and waiting! She is working on a touch command, walking politely on a leash and laying down. She is also rocking her potty training! Come see if this energetic husky girl could be a good fit for your family! *Come meet me this Saturday (02.07.26) at the Fort Collins PetSmart from 10am-2pm! This event is first come, first served so we recommend arriving early if you have a specific furry friend in mind! This event operates on a number system so upon arrival make sure to get your number and we will call numbers up in groups! Please note in order to receive a number you need to be an approved adopter within the last 3 months. We will have paper applications available at the event as well as our application via our website! We hope to see you there! :)*

Story
Meet Kenai! He's a bit shy at first, preferring to observe from a distance before warming up. But once he does, you'll discover a smart, independent companion. He is a total rockstar in playgroups. He does amazing riding in the car, making him the perfect doggy copilot. While a fast learner, Kenai may benefit from some additional support as he settles into a new home-- he can get a bit overwhelmed by new places! He chooses his friends carefully and can take a little time to warm up to new folks in the home (chicken is always helpful!). He would flourish in a home with patient adults ready to move at his pace and boost his confidence. Despite his shyness, Kenai is a loyal friend who's sure to add a special rhythm to your life. Ask about meeting Kenai today! Volunteers say "Kenai has the cutest excited tippy-tappy toes ever!!!"
