Story
Still available: We have a healthy, beautiful 1yr old husky/malamute mix who we adopted at 10wks. We already had two 9yo small dogs and thought that her growing up with them would be fine. We’ve had Kodi for a year now and she is the sweetest, cutest, most loving, smart dog however her natural prey drive is instinctively too much for our little dogs and cat. So she’s not a good fit for families with small animals, but great for a fam with kids or big dogs. She’s a sweet and playful dog, LOVES playtime with my kids, and loves her toys, but she doesn’t get enough exercise due to our work and kid sport sched. The decision to re-home breaks our hearts, but she’s just not a fit for our fam right now - it’s unfair to her that we don’t have the time to devote, and also unfair to our old lil dogs. Needs a fam with time to devote and a yard. House trained, kennel trained, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and about full grown at 50 lb. Kennel, bed, toys, bowls, harness/leash, will be provided.

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred to Colorado Puppy Rescue from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada (Texas). Mama (named Brooke at intake) and 7 puppies, 3M 4F. Per partner notes, originated from a large-scale hoarding situation involving numerous Huskies, including multiple pregnant females and young puppies . From the foster: Words can not describe what a gem mama Brooke is. When this girl first came to us she was so scared she wouldn’t walk. I had to carry her outside to go potty. Now she LOVES the outdoors. She spends most of her days lounging in the sun and throwing in some serious zoomies. She is a high energy dog and would love to have another playful dog friend. She really kind of learned the ropes of being a dog from our dog so I think she would continue to thrive with a playful pup friend. She loves hiking, walks around the neighborhood and playing with her pups. She is great with kids but is still learning that when they get wound up playing, it’s not something she needs to protect so she can be a little mouthy but responds really well to corrections. She is learning sit, down, high five and picks new tricks up incredibly fast! She figured out our dog door with ease and lets herself in and out to go potty. We have not had an accident in the house since the first week she came to us. She is very curious about cats and likes to stalk them from time to time but we’ve never seen her be aggressive towards them. She is still very much a puppy herself and will happily chew up your shoes or toys if left out so having appropriate chew toys for her is very helpful. She does not love her crate and could use some crate training, but will stay in it if you need. We have been leaving her out at night and she does just fine with no accidents. And when we leave we leave her out with access to the dog door and she’s been great with that as well. She has been the best mamas to her babies but now she is so ready to be a puppy herself and get all the love! She’s very timid at first meet but don’t let that discourage, she’s still just unsure about this world. But once she trusts you, she is an absolute love and would make the most wonderful addition to any family! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Alright ladies and gentlemen, Dire here. I am taking controls over this bio to hopefully spark some interest in me. I have been on here too long and respectfully I am over my foster parents and want to be in my forever home. Some quick facts: I LOVE to play. Any squeaker toy will do but if you give me a tennis ball- watch out- those are my favorite. I am always happy. I have never met a stranger. I love dogs, cats and all humans- little and big! I am housetrained and kennel trained- but I hate kennels enjoy taking naps on the couch or a comfy dog bed! I am a morning person- up and at’em! Love my food first thing then a romp in the yard. Do I want to go on a walkie? YES! Get me out as much as possible exploring. I would even take a car ride adventure as I am the best mannered dude in a car. I am not a shedder! I am enough of a mix that you will NOT have clumps of hair all over your house. Its amazing these beautiful white locs stay put. Here are my needs: Fenced in yard. If you don’t work from home a dog door would be great. Buddy to play with. If no other 4-legged buddies an active human to play and exercise me on a daily basis A lap to call my own (yes I know I am a little big, but I ignore that and enjoy cuddle time) A person that will not care I am a little internally different with my MG (Myasthenia Gravis).  It’s a cool muscle condition which makes my muscles a little weaker than a normal rambunctious dog because my nerves and muscles don’t communicate well. I need no expensive meds, no special treatment and you won’t even know I have it! I just need an accepting smile at my little gimp when I walk and get a little tired after a long day and need just a little more rest next day. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2363963##

Erica is a 4.5-5 Month old with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s loyal, smart, and spunky, the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are — hiking trails, weekend adventures, or just following you from room to room like your built-in bestie.  Erica in a nutshell: A true ride-or-die companion Smart, eager, and excellent adventure material Great with dogs and people Best with older kids or kids who understand big-dog energy Already crate trained & dog-door trained (yes, already!) Would love a canine buddy to pal around with Important to know: Erica is not an apartment dog — she’s a bit of a talker when left alone and prefers a home where she has space, stimulation, and ideally another dog for company.February 28, 2026, 11:31 am
