Story
Kodak is a handsome, 5 year old Siberian Husky looking for a new home. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hikes and getting fresh air. He is kennel trained up to 8 hours. Kodak is neutered and is up to date on all his vaccines. He also gets along with both people and dogs. An ideal home for him would include another dog to play with and space to roam around. I'm looking to find him a new loving home by summer. Kodak needs an owner who has patience and can provide him structure as he can be a high maintenance dog. Unfortunately he has a bite history in specific situations so I am seeking an owner who has professional handling experience and can be under their watch without having to take him to dog boarding or groomers.

Story
1120552 - This handsome guy is Odin.  He is a smart, playful, loyal companion.  He loves to play with other dogs (especially if they like to run so he can chase), and knows basic commands.  He even listens well off leash on our land and is happy to stay near you unlike a lot of huskies.  He is a husky mix and just over 3 years old. Like most huskies he can be vocal and can be a little stand-off-ish when he first meets you.  He seems to warm up to women faster then men. Also in typical husky fasion he does have some seperation anxiety, and needs to be in a strong crate when you aren’t home, he is getting better with this and does settle down but it takes him a few minutes.  He would do best with someone that isn’t gone too much, can get him plenty of exercise and is in a home with a yard (with a 6ft secure fence), not an apartment.  Husky experience is preferred!  He did okay in his cat test and wasn't overly interested and has been good with the kids he has meet. To adopt this absolutely gorgeous boy please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##911218##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Meet Eska, a beautiful, intelligent Siberian husky mix, fully equipped with up-to-date vaccines, spaying, and microchipping. In the foster home Eska enjoys hanging out near her humans. She mostly lounges and naps on a nearby couch, sometimes switching spots when she gets warm. In the late afternoon she might ask to play or try to play on her own with a toy. As a husky, she needs regular exercise every day, but if she is walked regularly (right now her foster parents do a morning and evening walk) she will be very chill in the house the rest of the day. She’s not destructive with household items or furniture, and hasn’t had a single potty accident in the house. Her foster mother crates her when all humans leave the house and though she doesn’t prefer this, she does not complain by being loud or messing with the crate. Eska tends to say her deep voiced husky woo wooooos when she is excited, usually to greet her humans in the morning when they first get up, and also when it’s time to go for a walk. She is nervous about the car and will pant and shake a little, but does not otherwise vocalize and does not try to get past the dog blanket to the front of the car. Her foster mom has been taking her on a lot of trails, so she has even started jumping into the backseat on her own.  Eska coexists well with her foster brother and does not have an issue with appropriate mannered dogs. In the presence of dogs who don’t understand social cues about challenging eye contact or personal space, she requires someone to supervise and interrupt her attempts to show dominance. Her foster mom noticed that she tends to guard bones or dog toys from other dogs. She lifts her lips to make a snarly face in warning, and worst case will snap her teeth at the other dog without making contact or bark. However, her foster mom or any other human can take away her bones and toys without any problem whatsoever. She seems to enjoy the company of her foster brother and will sleep near him or on the same bed, but she also would be fine as a single dog as her top priority seems to be people. She sniffs and licks new people, and enjoys light cuddles. She has no issue with strangers entering the house or with people she meets on walks. Eska walks quite well on a leash and can easily be walked in conjunction with another dog. She is not much of a sniffer or a marker and will march on at a steady pace, but she does get excited by small animals and other dogs. She met a couple dog-experienced cats and did not attempt to chase them or antagonize them. She is a great dog to run with (enjoys bikejoring) because she doesn’t feel the need to stop everywhere, and she has plenty of endurance. She has pretty good recall, decent for any dog but most especially for a husky. She also doesn’t show much inclination to bolt or escape and self explore like huskies sometimes do and does not try to jump barriers. In fact, she has dragged a long leash on dog friendly trails, and will come back when called or when her collar vibrates. She seems pretty smart and started recognizing her new name vs her foster brother’s name after only a couple days. Her intelligence means that she has a strong sense of pack, and she would love to be a part of yours! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1975927##

Story
Sadie was born July 23, 2023 and I brought Sadie home from the breeder at 8 weeks old. I put a tremendous amount of work into socializing and training her and we have shared so many adventures since then. Sadie can sit, stay, (lay) down, shake, fetch, heel, climb, and crate. She loves to hike year round. She has been a wonderful running parting. Her favorite place to go is the dog park. She's extremely social and will play with any and every dog. She has never been aggressive towards any dog, even when they are aggressive towards her. She has never been aggressive toward any human either. Sadie has been a wonderful dog. However, due to changing job and life circumstances, I can no longer sustain the effort I have put into dog ownership thus far. She is up to date on all of her shots, has been spayed. There is no cost associated with adopting Sadie. I can provide a crate, mat, toys, brush, comb, shedding blade, and baby gates. I'm just looking for a good home and capable owner.
