She is very friendly, active, she gets along with other dogs (not sure about cats), walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She would be an amazing addition to almost any family. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets. Story
My son and his wife got Lightning as a newborn pup two years ago. (And his brother, Thunder) They had a 2 year old child and a two year old child at the time and they live in rental property. They are having their third baby in October and they’re getting cramped in their space. (I warned them about this. They didn’t listen.) They also haven’t been able to afford a vet visit. (GRRRR!!!) I am thankful they are ready to find him a proper home. He is housebroken, kennel trained, great with kids and dogs (cats unknown) and he is a good boy but he is the lesser favorite of the two dogs because he is a little less affectionate than his brother Thunder.

Story
Hi friends! Oakley is a full bread husky. Oakley is 6 years old and he is the most family oriented and loving pup. Oakley is full of energy and has a habit of trying to escape.. as huskies are known for. When not being adventurous he is laid back and enjoys pets and snuggles from his humans. He has been through basic training and is fully crate/house trained. The main reason for rehoming is an extremely busy family schedule and the addition of another child. We want the absolute best for our pup. We desire someone or a family who has plenty of room for him to run, play, go on walks and maybe even lounge on the couch. Currently he spends too much time in a crate and we want him to live out the rest of his days free and happy! He will be up to date on shots prior to adoption. Thanks for considering Oakley as your new best friend!

Story
Bowie turned one years old on 9/10/2024 He’s a very great dog, and smart dog but I am a broke college student living in a small apartment and he is not the right fit for me sadly. He’s very energetic and is surprisingly good at walks. Bowie was rescued from a shelter 6 months ago. I will provide the rest of his food bag, all of his toys, crates, and leashes. For those interested I also have dna testing results from wisdom.
