She is very friendly, active, she gets along with other dogs (not sure about cats), walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She would be an amazing addition to almost any family. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets. Story
Fre is a. Amazing pup! He was raised by my grandmother and when she passed away, my parents took him in. He was protective of my mother during her cancer battle. When She passed, he completely became my dad's dog versus my mom's dog lol. He loves food, will have a full blast conversation with you, loves other dogs, will spend a little bit of time outside, doesn't like the rain or snow, loves to have his own seat in the house, and love's attention. He's not a clingy dog, but when he wants to be pet, you'll know. My dad passed away February 2nd and right now he is being fostered by my aunt and uncle because I just had a baby and I'm heading back to Austin this weekend. We're looking for a loving, caring, and kind family to take him. He's nine and has experienced a lot of loss and the last 7 years. As much as I want to take him, with a new baby, a move, a new job, etc. I've just got a lot going on and I can't give him what he needs. Oh, and he loves Gus's soft pretzels. Thanks Dad lol

Story
Spook is a healthy 3 and 1/2 years old husky/border collie mix. She is full of life, fun, playful, and a love bug. She loves to cuddle and show affection. She is crate and house trained and is nondestructive. Spook is super smart. She knows lots of commands and tricks, and learns new ones in no time. She enjoys running after her jolly ball just as much as snuggling with a good belly rub or lounging in the sun. She’s currently living with 2 other dogs and an older cat. She is ok with them but has a strong desire to herd, which creates tensions at home (the reason for rehoming her). A good home will be a place with a fenced yard or some acreage to run. She will shine being an only pet. We don't know her behavior with young kids. She can be shy at first but warms up very quickly to new people.
