Story
Meet Angel! Angel was found tied to a gas station post by my niece, who couldn’t keep her, so we took her in temporarily. She’s about 7–8 months old, up to date on all shots, but not yet spayed, due to appointments being booked out until September. Angel is high-energy, loves to run, play, and snuggle with us and the kids. She gets along with our small dogs and cat, but she’s a bit too rough for our older pets due to her size and energy. We can’t keep her long-term—my wife is recovering from surgery, and I’m away for work often. Angel would do best as an only dog or with larger dogs and older kids. She’s sweet, loving, and needs a home where she’ll get plenty of attention and exercise. If you can give her the forever home she deserves, please reach out Adoption fee is just to recover what we have spent on getting her checked at the vet and for all the vaccinations. I have the records in hand.

Story
4 years old, Neutered, Up to date on all vaccinations, New microchip (unregistered, ready for the new owner), Currently 46 pounds, a little chunky, but ideal weight will be close to 40 lbs (yeah, he's a little guy). Walks beautifully on a leash (no pulling!) Ignores squirrels and birds; just pauses to look Takes treats gently, rides well in the car, and is fully potty-trained Needs a bit of work on sit & stay, and learning how to play nicely, but one no and he stops. A firm now and he heads to his kennel! Energy level is moderate for a Husky, he matches your pace and loves to be with his people. He is truly a lovable guy with a gentle soul. My friend's father was the owner and he passed away. We are fostering him and trying to find him a new home. We'd love to keep him but we have 2 cats who are not fond of him. One of our cats has anxiety issues that causes her to throw up blood when she gets too nervous, so bringing him into our home long term is not possible.

This pet's adoption fee is sponsored by the Zach Schneider Memorial Fund, created in memory of Zach Schneider, who loved pets and fostered for Gateway Pet Guardians. Born on Valentine's Day, Holley is a friendly, happy-go-lucky love bug who’s always ready to brighten your day. She loves going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, proudly carrying the perfect stick she’s found, and greeting everyone she meets like a long-lost friend. She's crate trained and potty trained and this smart cookie will show off lots of different commands for her favorite peanut butter treats! With her easygoing personality and joyful spirit, Holley is the kind of dog who makes every outing more fun and every home feel warmer. Story
Meet Alamo, an absolutely charming 3-year-old Husky/Terrier mix with the best of both worlds! This handsome boy has a medium energy level—he loves to get his "zoomies" out for about 30 minutes, and then he's ready to snooze the day away on the couch. Alamo is a true family dog, showing zero aggression and being incredibly patient and tolerant with children (in his foster home he lives with a 7 and 9-year-old), though his happy bursts of speed mean a home without small toddlers may be best. He is fully potty trained and crate trained, though he'll definitely try to convince you to let him out for cuddles if you're home! Alamo is great with other dogs his size and is a highly food motivated gentleman. While he's a strong pup who is still learning his leash manners, he is a total joy who loves car rides with the windows down, is fine with baths (just hide the blow dryer!), and will instantly quiet his initial "protector" barks for a good petting session and a belly rub. Get ready to stock up on Kongs—this affectionate, happy guy is ready to be your loyal companion!
