She is very friendly, active, she gets along with other dogs (not sure about cats), walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She would be an amazing addition to almost any family. Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets. Story
Need a little pick-me-up? Boy, do we have you covered! Koda- the living embodiment of a ray of sunshine- is ready to be just that, and even more! A few words from Koda's foster mom: "Koda is a very sweet boy! He loves to go for long walks. He also love to snuggle on the couch & rest his head on your lap & sometimes he tries to lay on you with his entire body! Which he finds funny. He does not like to play fetch but he will go get the ball & run right past you with it... he thinks that's the game. The one thing he can absolutely not live without is milk jugs! He is absolutely obsessed with empty milk jugs, it is his favorite toy of all. Koda is beyond ready for his forever family! He will be your best friend! He will greet you at the door anytime you leave and come home! However, he is completely crate trained, he loves his crate, especially in the summer when he can lay on the cool plastic!! He loves kids, but does jump when overly excited (still working on that)! He loves the fall and winter and you will have to beg him to come inside. However, in the summer he will want to come in and lay right on a vent. I hope you consider adding this sweet cuddly happy boy to your family!"

Story
I am fostering Kato from a friend who adopted him. He had one owner for his 9 years. They surrendered him because they had a new baby. Kato is very relaxed, likes walks and long naps. I give him a zinc supplement everyday for a husky zinc-deficiency issue that he seems to have. He's up-to-date on all his shots. He weighs 80 pounds. I cannot keep him forever because my house is not big enough for him and my two giant breed adult dogs that I have raised from puppies! He would make a great, cheerful addition to many homes!

Story
Rocky is a ~4 years old husky mix. He is a loving, energetic, and goofy boy who tends to match the energy of his caretakers, whether relaxed or moving. He loves walks (harnessed and leashed) and squirrels. He's not great with other dogs, but he's very good with our two house cats. He is potty and crate trained. He is fixed and vaccinated. He is currently being treated for valley fever (contracted in Arizona prior to us adopting him). He takes 1 pill a day and has 4 more months left on his treatment. Price per bottle is about $40 a month at Costco pharmacy. His mobility and activity are not affected by his fever since treatment started. We need to rehome Rocky due to our changes in our work and health. We can no longer provide the environment he deserves. We want to make sure he goes to a safe house where he will have access to a yard or be close to a park.
