Story
This beautiful girl is Junebug.   Estimated to be 1-1-1/2 years old, will be 45-50 lbs when she's at her recommended weight. Junebug is very athletic & would love an active person/family.  She would make a great walking/running/hiking partner.  Her foster family runs her alongside their bikes nightly.  She loves people & dogs.  She would love to have another dog in the home to play with.  She is house trained, working on loving her kennel, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative & will be spayed prior to adoption. A secure yard or someone willing to supervise her in the yard is a must; she is a Husky after all. Story
Rocky is a loving, playful, and athletic three-year-old dog from Colorado. He likes to play and exercise. He would be ideal for an active family that has a yard or a park close by. But he also imitates the energy of the "room” and relaxes easily. He is crate-trained, house-trained, and does well on short or long car rides. He walks well with the leash, but will pull if squirrels or big dogs get close. Rocky does not bark unless he is surprised by a stranger. He only howls when he has to go to the bathroom or is hungry/thirsty. He is not destructive of house things nor does he climb beds or sofas. He is good with other people, children, and cats. On the down side, he is selective with other dogs and has been taking medicine for a recent shoulder inflammation and for a Valley Fever he got about a year ago. Rocky knows commands, loves chest rubs, and squeaky toys. He is ready to be your new loving companion.

Story
Monty is a gorgeous 1 year old husky who was seen hit by a car that then drove away. One of our amazing fosters saw the whole thing and picked him up and took him to the emergency vet. Miraculously he’s just a little banged up. He’s healing fast and sooooo stinking cute and friendly. He did great with the foster’s dogs at her house, but he’s a little overwhelmed by all of the dogs at the rescue. He absolutely adores people and will give you sweet licks. He’s a classic husky—smart, will climb over low fences, and he enjoys talking to you. Monty’s a big guy at about 55 pounds. He’d love a fantastic and fun forever home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet May and Mila! These stunning husky mix sisters came in together after being found stray. They are both incredibly sweet and affectionate--they absolutely love attention! They ride well in the car and they're great with other dogs and kids. They were in a foster home on their way to us for a week, and did well with house manners and house training. They both seem to be really smart, so they'll take to training well. They're 9 months old and about 35 pounds, so they should be around 45 pounds when full grown. They have thick hair, but not as long as most husky fur.May is grey and white and Mila is black and white with one blue eye.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
