Story
Meet Micah! He had a rough start to life but that doesn't keep him down AT ALL. He is a sweet, affectionate, snuggly boy who has never met someone who isn’t a friend. He loves to lean in for scratchies and will never say no to belly rubs. Micah is incredibly smart and picks up on all the things his humans are teaching him. He thrives on structure and working his brain. He is really just a big exuberant guy trying his best to be a good boy. He is working on perfecting crate and house training. Micah absolutely loves the dog siblings in his foster home. He loves to run around outside with them and enjoys a nice round of bitey face inside. He is becoming an expert at matching his friends playstyle. Micahs favorite thing is playing fetch. He especially enjoys running after frisbees. He is a big chewer and tries to share his toys everyone, including his humans! Micah has so much potential and an endless amount of love to give. His perfect home would be one willing to be patient with a big goofy happy go lucky puppy as he settles into their home. Micah needs adopters who have experience with similar breeds and understand his need for structure and keeping him accountable with continued training and mental stimulation (Per DNA he is a Siberian husky, lab, GSD, Norwegian elkhound!) Micah will need a home with a secure fenced in yard. If you think this sweet face is your guy please apply!! You must be over 21 and a home owner to adopt me. Please visit www.pittiesandpurrs.org to fill out an application. For further information contact adoptpitties@gmail.com

Story
www.huskyrescueteam.org    If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgWelcoming Buddy, to the H-E-A-R-T pack! Buddy was a stray in NC. He's approximately 5 1/2 years old and has a lovely temperament! Buddy had many medical issues we've had to address so he's been with us for a while. He required FHO surgery to fix a hip injury he sustained early in life. Likely from trauma of some sort and he was heartworm positive. Now that he's all fixed up, his last step is to find his forever home. Buddy is dog friendly but would also be fine as an only dog. He coexists nicely but isn't a player. He loves human attention and likes to go for car rides. His main goal in life is human affection. Buddy is: Completely housebroken Moderate energy Strong on a leash Good with other dogs Good with children Would be okay being leash walked instead of having a fenced yard Allowed on furniture Not a fan of the vacuum or mop Buddy's ideal home is someone who works from home and has a place for Buddy to lay and sun bathe with the occasional job to chase the bunnies. Buddy loves car rides so would like his human to take him for some rides to sniff his nose out of a cracked window. Someone who likes movie nights in and will let buddy snuggle up against them.  Buddy is being fostered in MD.  Adoption area: NJ to NC.~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply     If you have additional questions please email  info@huskyrescueteam.orgApril 29, 2024, 9:06 pm

www.huskyrescueteam.org    If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgThis is Charlie! And just look at those cute ears! Charlie is a 1-2 year old Shepherd/Husky mix new to the H-E-A-R-T program. We don't know anything about his past because he was a stray. But he's a super smart, happy guy. Charlie plays well with other dogs but prefers females. He would be okay in a home as an only dog. He'd like a forever home with fenced yard. Charlie is neutered, vaccinated and healthy. He's being fostered in NC but can be transported for the right family! Adoption area NJ to NC. www.huskyrescueteam.org~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. www.huskyrescueteam.org    If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgThis incredibly happy & handsome guy is Cobalt!   Cobalt was a stray and was impounded in a kill shelter in Georgia when we rescued him. We don't know anything about his past and he was heartworm positive.   Cobalt is currently living in sanctuary care with some of his H-E-A-R-T Husky friends and is now ready for a furever home of his own. He's a 3 year old, neutered male. Cobalt is current on his vaccines and has finished heartworm treatment. Between his bright eyes and his wide smile, you can't help but to smile when you look at him. Cobalt would be okay as an only dog if he got lots of human attention. He's quite the silly boy and very entertaining! Cobalt would like a fenced yard to play in or to be taken on a few walks daily, and a couch to snuggle on.   Cobalt is currently located in NC. His adoption area is CT, NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC. Exceptions can be made for other neighboring states on a case by case basis.~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Story
www.huskyrescueteam.org    If you have additional questions please email info@huskyrescueteam.orgThis little lady was either dumped or lost in Grand Bay National Park in Georgia. Grand Bay has tons of alligators and snakes. It took a while to catch her but she's now safe! She completed a stray hold through the local shelter but no one came for her and she wasn't microchipped. Even though we are beyond full with Huskies waiting on homes, we couldn't leave her fate to chance after all she's endured. So help us welcome Gia! The name is short and sweet, just like her!!! Gia is such a funny gal and she needs a furever home of her own where she's able to entertain her hoomans and be the life of the pawty! She loves other doggy friends and will play with them all no matter male or female. She plays rough like a typical Husky so a large dog would be more her speed. She would also be fine as an only dog.   Gia is: Mostly housebroken Crate Trained Very vocal High energy Good on a leash Good with other large dogs Allowed on furniture Cuddle bug   Gia is estimated to be a year old and currently weighs 35 lbs. She is spayed, current on her vaccines and heartworm negative. Her adoption area is CT, NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, VA, NC, SC or GA. Gia is being fostered in GA but we will transport for an approved home. So please apply today!  ~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. Story
Meet Sapa, a majestic 3-year-old Akita with a stunning presence and a heart full of love. Akitas are known for their dignified and courageous nature, and Sapa is no exception. With his plush coat, erect ears, and tail curling boldly over his back, Sapa embodies the striking appearance and strong spirit typical of his breed.Sapa is a dog-friendly and people-friendly companion, always eager to make new friends and share his affection. However, given his size and strength, he would thrive best in a home with children over 12 who can appreciate his energy and play style.Speaking of energy, Sapa is a medium-energy pup who enjoys a good balance of activity and relaxation. He is familiar with basic commands but could benefit from some additional training to polish his manners indoors. Training sessions with Sapa are a joy, especially since he's highly food-motivated and always ready for a tasty treat.Sapa's favorite pastime is playing with rope toys, a testament to his playful and engaging personality. He loves interactive play and would be delighted to have a family that shares his enthusiasm for fun and games. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will add a touch of grace and adventure to your life, Sapa might just be your perfect match.
