Story
Holly is a sweet 7 year old husky mix. She loves cuddles and playing with toys. She gets along with other animals and kids. She isn't a big barker unless someone is walking by when she's outside, she just wants to say hi! She deserves all the love and attention. She will cuddle you all night long if she could!

Story
Attention all husky-lovers! Winter is a 5 year old wiggle-butt who is ready to find a home! When he first arrived he was a bit anxious but has made vast improvements. Loud, unfamiliar noises have upsetting to his delicate sensibilities the most. Once settled, he is a lover through and through. He loves people but has not been a fan of other dogs and would prefer a dog-free home. In his past he has lived with cats and was described as playful - a cat who can tolerate goofiness from a big dog would do great with him! He has also lived with children older than 10 and did well. Winter would thrive with an active or outdoorsy family as he loves to be outside. If that checks all your boxes, Winter would be thrilled to meet you!

Story
Jasper 1 yr (b. 3/29/2025) weighs 50 lbs. We adopted him 8/2025, no issues with our older beagle or visiting dogs. Unknown about cats or children since they aren't present in our house. Our beagle had undiscovered cancer and we lost him 6 wks later. By winter Jasper hit his teenage phase and he now needs a lot more playtime then we are able. We have usually had multi-dogs, but now that we are seniors we are not up to getting another dog. He has no accidents in the house - "all business" is outside. Not aggressive-I can open his mouth and pull out anything. After jumping the baby gates in the first week, we have left him loose in the house without a problem. He does sleep in a crate in our room, mostly to keep him out of our bed. He is not afraid of fire crackers or thunder. Not a fussy eater. Comes with DNA results showing mix 23 breeds. His husky part is seen in his licky and pulling on clothes- usually it means he needs to go out. He doesn't bark outside. He is active, we are boring

Story
SKYLAR Is a 7 year old husky who was found as a stray in Baltimore. Being bred to run across the frozen tundra, he does like to test his boundaries so a secure fence and lots of exercise is a must for this guy! Skylar loves his walks and loves to be petted. Rides well in the car! He does have some issues with handling his neck/collar area - he may have had a bad experience with rough handling at some point. He does easily let us hook a leash to his collar but was a little mouthy with the volunteers at the shelter where we got him from when they were putting on and off a slip lead over his head. He was very polite about it and didn’t bite down but because of this we prefer him to have a home without small children. We would love Skylar to go to a family with husky experience! He ha shown some resource guarding with toys so we are recommending he be he only pup where he can soak up all the love and attention. Skylar is neutered and has been vaccinated, 4DX tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy please fill out an application at www.companimals.org. Story
COCO came to us after she had a cluster of seizures in her newly adoptive home. She was adopted only a month before from a rescue in Tennessee which did not respond to our inquiries regarding her previous history. Coco is a SWEET girl! She is currently in a foster home with a Chihuahua and several cats and does well with all! She enjoys her walks as much as she enjoys her couch time! Coco is a beautiful red brindle! she is 110% housebroken. Great with meeting new people! Coco is in Keppra and phenobarbital to control her seizures. She has had a couple of clusters since arriving in her foster home and we are working In fine tuning her meds. Coco will need more frequent vet visits than the average dog her age. With excellent care, we feel she can live a relatively normal life and will make an excellent companion for some lucky family. Coco has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Adoption $200. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you are interested in adding Coco to your family! March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Story
Meet Dakota High-energy | Loyal | Looking for Trust & Time Dakota is a beautiful, spirited girl who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place when she’s got the right people by her side. A bit fearful at first, she needs a patient person who will give her the time and space to build trust — but once she bonds with you, she’ll be your ride-or-die companion. Dakota is dog selective and does best with slow introductions. While she’s non-reactive in the kennel and around fence-line neighbors, she can be leash-reactive, likely due to fear, so ongoing confidence-building and training will go a long way for her. This girl has energy to spare! She’ll thrive in a home with a fenced yard, where she can zoom around safely and play. Because of her fearfulness, we’re recommending a home with teenagers or older who understand how to respect a dog’s space and needs. She’s not the kind of dog who gives her heart to just anyone — but if you earn her trust, you’ll have it forever. Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755 Another great reason to adopt from Greenmore...... Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption.
