Story
OTHER PETS: D'Lyllah is comfortable with , mellow, social dogs and will initiate play with them. She will provide appropriate communication when dogs are rude/pushy and does not fixate, but does remember and will avoid or warn the other dog away from then on. D'Lyllah would be happy as an only dog or with a companion who also appreciates relaxed vibes, and should meet any dogs she would be living with prior to adoption. [Case by Case (Must Meet First)]OWNER EXPERIENCE: [First Dog] Experience with positive reinforcement or willingness to learn. KIDS: D'Lyllah is comfortable with handling and solicits physical interaction, she is playful and occasionally gets the zoomies. She is also jumpy; although she is a smaller dog and is gentle, she could potentially injure a smaller child but would likely do well with school age children. D'Lyllah should meet any minors she would be living with prior to adoption. [7+ (Must Meet First)] ACTIVITY LEVEL: D'Lyllah enjoys running around and getting her zoomies out while in our enclosed outdoor runs, she also walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring around her. Ideally, D'Lyllah would go live somewhere where she had access to a safe outdoor space to run around off leash in addition to going for regular walks. Puzzle toys and learning games/tricks and other forms of mental enrichment will help meet her needs. She would likely enjoy trail walking with her humans as well, be sure to watch out for overheating in warmer months! [Good Walking Buddy] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help D'Lyllah bond with her new owner as well as help her learn new skills and fun tricks while building confidence. [Minimal] GROOMING: Regular brushing will keep D'Lyllah's coat clean and matt-free. When double-coated dogs shed their underlayer (twice a year) some owners choose to get a professional groom to help with all the shedding. [Routine Brushing] March 23, 2026, 6:06 pm

Story
Zoey is a lovable pomsky. She is a great dog. She does have some issues. She has separation anxiety only when you separate her in the house. She likes to be with you when you are home. If She is locked out of a room you are in she may make a mess (pee or poop). She also does not like cats. We didnt know this when we adopted her and she went after our kitten. The kitten is safe but we cant home her here any longer. She would fit a home with only people or with dogs. She gets along with our other 2 dogs but just does not like cats. She loves walks and adores time with you. She will be a loyal and fun pet. She is house trained and is fine if left at home alone so long as she knows you have left, that has been our experience anyway. We were unable to get her vet records from past owner and she went after our kitten before we made an apointment however we would be willing to get her rabies done. Thank you.

Story
Meet Tusky! A devoted four-and-a-half-year-old Alaskan Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix currently in Lancaster, NY, whose world shifted when her beloved pet parent passed away, and whose essence is a bright spark of adventure wrapped in a stunning gray and white coat. She carries the steady confidence of an adult while still holding onto the playful, curious spirit her northern heritage is known for. Weighing about 54 pounds, this medium-sized girl is athletic, expressive, and wonderfully devoted to her people! Tusky is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and reported to have no known medical concerns. She is house-trained and walks beautifully on leash, making her daily strolls a true highlight. Walking is the most important part of her routine, and she currently enjoys multiple walks each day, sometimes paired with a fun trip to the dog park. She settles well when left alone for short periods, but nothing compares to the joy she shows when greeting her favorite humans at the door. Her bright eyes and wagging tail say it all! With her Alaskan Husky and Malamute roots, Tusky thrives in an active, structured home that understands working-breed energy. She would benefit from guardians who can provide regular exercise, mental engagement, and positive reinforcement. She knows how to come when called and loves car rides, toys, and being a constant companion. Tusky has not lived with other animals in a household setting. While she appears neutral toward other dogs, her compatibility in a shared home is still unknown. For this reason, she may be most comfortable as the primary pet, at least initially. A fenced yard would be helpful, though not mandatory, as long as her exercise needs are met consistently. Sweet, affectionate, and deeply loyal, Tusky is ready to begin her next chapter with a new loving family who can offer companionship, leadership, and plenty of adventures. Could Tusky be the walking partner and devoted friend you have been hoping to welcome into your life? Story
Meet Kippa! A spirited five-year-old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix currently living in Wilton, CT, whose heart is as big as her love for snuggles. Wrapped in a gorgeous grey-and-white coat, this medium-sized adventurer is an affectionate, intelligent, and playful companion who thrives when surrounded by her favorite people. Kippa is happiest when she’s part of the action—whether it’s exploring the great outdoors, going for long walks, or even taking a refreshing swim in the pool with the kids. She’s always up for a cuddle session, making her the perfect constant companion for anyone looking for a loving, people-oriented pup! She knows a few important commands like “sit,” “leave it,” and “okay,” but she would benefit from continued training to build her confidence and skills. Kippa adores people and is friendly with strangers, but she can be selective with other dogs. In her current home, she has had altercations with another resident dog and once with a neighbor’s dog while in her space, which may stem from resource guarding or feeling the need to assert control in her environment. However, she does well in neutral settings like doggie daycare, where she has no issues with socialization or aggression. To ensure her happiness and comfort, Kippa would thrive as the only pet in her new home, where she can enjoy one-on-one attention from her family. Kippa does well when left alone in the house and settles in comfortably with her family at night, whether snoozing close by or finding her own cozy spot. While she’s a confident and loving dog, she does experience some stress in certain situations. She gets anxious at vet visits (where the staff describes her as sweet and cooperative) and when left alone in the car for short periods. A bit of extra care and patience in these moments will help her feel secure. Her ideal home would be with an experienced pet parent who understands the needs of Huskies and Shepherds—someone active and ready to provide both mental and physical enrichment. A securely fenced yard is a must to give her a safe space to enjoy her outdoor time. To make sure that Kippa has a great start with her new family, we have a canine behaviorist available for a free consultation. Kippa is ready to shower her new family with love, loyalty, and endless snuggles! Could she be the perfect match for you?
