Story
Teddy is ready to go home! Teddy was adopted from us in October of 2022 but was returned to us to the previous owner stated that he was having soiling accidents in the house. Since being back at the shelter (6/25), Teddy has not had one accident in his kennel. Teddy loves every human that he meets and good with other dogs. He is a sweet pup that needs basic manners training to help him to become a fantastic dog. Because Teddy likes to "talk", apartment living would not be fair to Teddy or neighbors. He is friendly, playful, and very high energy. Teddy loves to go walks and would be a great hiking partner for someone. The shelter staff love's Teddy and a hoping for the right family to take this sweet boy home. Prior purebred Siberian Husky experience is a plus, but not a deal breaker. Please do your research about this breed before applying for Teddy. Teddy is 1.2 years old, neutered, vaccinated, blood-tested, and microchipped.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Tania came to TJO as a stray, as such we do not know about her life prior to his arrival. She has proven to be an outgoing, friendly dog and can't wait to find her new home. OTHER PETS: Tania is a social, outgoing dog who would likely do well living with other dogs. As with all our dogs, any dogs that would be living with Taina should meet her first. [Likely (Must Meet First)] OWNER EXPERIENCE: Tania is a strong dog and Huskies are notorius for finding ways out of things meant to contain them. Someone who has experience with Huskies, or someone with a lot of dog experience would be best suited to provide the structure and support that will help Tania thrive. [Some Experience] KIDS: Tania is a friendly, sweet dog but she is still learning appropriate behavior. As such, she might inadverdently injure small humans while attempting to play with them. Any humans under 18 should meet Tania before adoption takes place. [12+ (Must Meet First)] ACTIVITY LEVEL: Huskies are high energy dogs that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation daily - a tired husky is a happy husky! If Tania is left to entertain herself, she could potentially find destructive ways to entertain herself. With the benefit of training, Tania could become an amazing adventure buddy! Multiple long walks, daily runs, doggy daycare, and adventures as often as possible will make sure she that she has positive ways to release her energy. [Olympic Athlete] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Tania learn her basic commands, behavorial expectations, and will also help her bond with her new owner. Tania would be an excellent dog to receive extra training that would help her learn how to run agility courses, pull weight sleds, become an experienced trail dog or even things like dock diving or frizbee fetch!! [Moderate] GROOMING: Huskies need routine brushing in order to maintin their coats, they shed a lot and blow their entire coats twice a year. If their coats are not maintained properly, Huskies will get matted and will need professional grooming in order to keep them healthy and happy. [Routine Brushing]March 1, 2024, 4:49 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Lola. My sisters Memphis, Little, Sahara and I all came to Berkshire Humane Society from a hoarding case. We have only been living inside so we will need owners dedicated to teaching us the world isn't such a scary place. We can be a bit shy when meeting new people but with time and patience we tend to come around fairly quickly. We are still learning how to walk on leash, but are making great progress and LOVE being outside! We are working hard on our house training as well and have been making some good progress. We could potentially live with another dog which might help boost our confidence. I would do best in a home with adults only as fast movements from kids tend to scare me. If you're interested in more information about me, please call kennel staff at (413) 447-7878 ext.126.Weight: 43lbs.

Story
Coquito is 1.6 years old and is a husky/malamute mix with blue eyes. He was acquired from a breeder. Coquito is a strong boy on the outside but mushy and lovable on the inside. He does have alot of energy but given the right amount of run, play and attention, he is all yours. He is crate trained. Unfortunately, our home/work schedules have changed and we are unable to spend the needed time for/with him. Additionally, allergies for one of our children has gotten worse overtime. We are looking for a home/family that can provide him the time and attention needed.
