Story
She’s is a great dog with just don’t have time to take care of her I’m at work 10 hours a day and she’s a puppy so she not suppose to rome the house alone and I live with my mom and a cat the cat is mean to her so my mom doesn’t let her downstairs when I’m not home so I have to leave her in her crate and she soils her crate if I’m gone for over 4 hours and I just don’t want her to live like this it’s not fair as much as this will hurt both of us I will pay for the rest of her shots so she’s is good in that aspect I only put a price because she means something to me and I want her to go somewhere where she means something to them and you can’t really put a price tag on that typa stuff but this will make me feel better price is negotiable

To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Pippa is a 5 month old female husky mix from an unwanted litter in Memphis.  This pup lives in the house with her foster family where she’s lovingly cared for while awaiting her forever home. Sweet, loving, affectionate.  Pippa is initially a little hesitant with strangers and new situations but warms up quickly.  Growing up around kids and other dogs. Not cat tested but she has such a mild temperament.  Recommended for children 6 years and older. Crate trained. About 50% housebroken, still working on it. Good on the leash, rides great in the car. DOB is 3-4-26. Weighs about 20 pounds and expected to be about 35 pounds as an adult. Healthy, altered and utd on shots. This is a sweet puppy with a loving temperament who will make a great companion for an active family. Here's a note from the foster mom: 'SWEET PUPPY! loving and affectionate. It's so much fun watching her learn what toys and treats are for! Very nice pup, will be a great family dog.' When he first arrived, I thought he was much older and that he would be a hospice case. He was stiff and frozen in fear and skinny. He would barely move. I put him in a kennel with younger dogs and he soon found his youthful spirit again and is like a different dog now. I don't know his age for sure but he has lots of life and happiness left in him and I think he is younger than 8. He weighs about 60 lbs now. He learned how to climb out of the 6 ft chain link kennel but he doesn't stray far from it except to follow me on walks. He goes down the pond to take a dip but mostly just hangs out by the kennel. So while he has the skills of a husky to escape, he doesn't have the urge of a husky to run off and go explore. I don't even put him up when I leave because he doesn't go anywhere. He is great with other dogs but sometimes doesn't know how big he is so he wouldn't be good around scared little dogs. Not because he would hurt them, but because they might get scared of him. He is fine with my chihuahuas but they are very bossy and not scared of anything. For that reason, I also don't think he should be around cats. To be clear, he is not aggressive at all, he just tries to play with everything and with his size that just wouldn't work with a dog or cats that's scared of him. He is very food motivated and walks well on the leash as well. He is an awesome boy and I am glad he didn't die at the kill shelter. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) - Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative). Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
GIA was pulled from the local Animal Control in pretty rough condition. Gia is a 2-year-old Husky mix, girl who loves to be with people. Gia is a sweet and loving dog but, we think a man must have been mean to her at sometime in her short life. Gia would never bite but, she howls when first introduced to a man. We are working on this with her and she is getting better but, she may need a little extra time and patience in this area. Gia likes to chew on her toys, she has a sweet and calm disposition and she is house trained. Gia had a rough start in life, but she is looking forward to a bright and happy future with a forever family. Applications can be found on our website at, www.starbrightanimalrescue.org or please e-mail us at sbanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an application to adopt GIA. We try to respond to ALL inquiries so, please check your junk mailbox if, you're waiting to hear from us.
