She’s crate trained and likes her crate, and loves to follow you around to see what you’re up to! Her energy is about 4/10 but she can come up to about a 6 if you want to! She’s been very well socialized with other dogs.

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Heartworm Test Fecal Test, Deworming Microchip Flea and Tick Prevention Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment. Neptune is a good natured, playful pup who loves belly rubs and ear scratches and walks outside. He likes his people, is happy to settle in for movie night and is always ready for an outside adventure. He walks well on the leash and enjoys exploring his surroundings. He is good with the other dogs he has met but can be selective. Neptune is very gentle with accepting treats and has not shown any resource guarding with food, treats or toys. He knows sit, stay, give two paws (not just one) and lay down. He is not very vocal and not a barker. He has not been cat tested and has not been around young children. He is neutered, house trained, crate trained, HW neg, microchipped and UTD on all shots.

Jaxon was rehomed to us about two months ago, and he is a FANTASTIC dog. Unfortunately, while he gets along great with two of our cats, he shows signs of aggression towards the third and we know we cannot be the home for him. Jaxon is an amazing dog. He is high energy, so he needs someone who can provide ways for him to get energy out. We want to set him up for success in his new home, so we will be keeping him for as long as it takes to find the right place. We have grown to love him very quickly. Jaxon knows the basic commands, but needs some work retaining focus when things are exciting. He walks okay on leash, but due to his size he can be a bit hard to manage. He is very food motivated and loooves his snuffle mats and puzzle feeders. There is a character limit, but I have thousands of more words to say about this dog. Please contact me if interested.
