Story
Frosty Paws Nala came to us from an owner who relinquished her by no fault of her own. This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 06/09/25 and she currently weighs 30.4#.She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $250 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2626746##

Story
Skye is a beautiful Husky mix with a big heart and a huge love for people. She enjoys being close to her humans, soaking up pets, and doing the classic “husky lean” where she presses up against you for extra snuggles. At around 60 lbs, she may not realize she’s not a lap dog and will happily try to be one! Skye has an energetic side and will do best with an active family. She has a high prey drive and enjoys chasing smaller animals, so a home without small pets would likely be best. She is also quite athletic and can jump a 4-foot fence, so she’ll need a secure yard with a taller fence or to be supervised on a leash. Skye loves being around people and would do best in a home where someone is around often. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who will make a wonderful companion for someone familiar with the Husky breed and ready for a loyal best friend. ##1949965##

Story
Luigi is a Husky mix with the most beautiful blue eyes. Luigi has many husky characteristics, he is curious, he is silly, he can jump, he is cuddly, but he does not seem to like playing outside in the cold weather. He did like to play with his brother and will need plenty of exercise time. He does not react to other dogs at the kennel, so he may be ok with other dogs in the house. He will need to meet any potential siblings. He was introduced to some cats and wanted to play with them like they were dogs (he got a bit too rough). He may be ok in a home with cats but the cat(s) would need to be very confident and they woudl need to have a slow introduction. He will also need a fenced in area (preferably 6ft fence) as he can jump and climb. Luigi came to the shelter with his brother Yoshi, but his brother has been adopted and now Luigi is waiting for his turn.  ##2632236##

Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 52 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes. Story
If you like Huskies and always wanted one, but you thought they were too large and had too much hair, Lizzie might be a great solution. She is petite in size, but has a large personality as well as a strong singing voice. Lizzie can be a little shy at first, and does not like loud noises. She will definitely require a secure fenced yard, due to the fact that Huskies tend to escape and run. Since she is new to us we do not know how she is with other dogs, children, or cats. Story
AVAI'm just a young girl with the most striking topaz eyes, and beautiful red coat. It may take me time to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise you will have a friend for life. I am currently working on my training to help build my confidence, and let my lovely personality shine. As for my heritage, well I'm part Husky, so I'll need a secure fenced yard and due to my shyness no children or cats, please.DOB 12/27/2020 53 poundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
