Hikers! Campers! Adventurers! Nature-lovers! Outdoorsy folk! YOU NEED ROCKY JAMES! He is the coolest dude and is up for anything, rain or shine, 30° or 80°. He's good for social outings or just you and him on a trail or playing fetch. He's an active, fun boy so would love an equally active and fun person to be his best friend. He has done totally awesome with female dog friends who are confident, silly, energetic, and social. Rocky James loves to play chase and then go on a sniffing date during his playgroup time with his lady friends! Rocky James is about two years old, is neutered, has a sponsored adoption fee to an approved applicant, and would love people in the home to be teenagers and up. Talk about the best hiking buddy ever! Come meet Rocky James!

Story
Ma'ii has had a rough start. She was kept alone in a backyard in New Mexico during the summer for weeks. At one point, she decided she had enough and escaped. Despite her treatment, she's so incredibly friendly that she literally walked in my front door. I had seen a dog wandering around the block and went out to see what was going on. She happily trotted in. For a Husky, she's very chill and loves to snuggle. She obviously likes her long walks, but due to health issues, I cannot run her. She seems to be okay with that. She always wants to be close and has the goofiest smile. Perhaps due to being left in 100 + weather for weeks on end, she does not like to be left alone, but she does calm down pretty quickly. I got her professionally trained for two weeks, so she has good training foundations. Unfortunately, I didn't mean to find a whole dog a few weeks before moving half across the country, so I cannot keep her. My dogs and I will miss her though!

Story
Trip is waiting for an owner who is willing to enjoy his energy and provide outlets to exercise both his mind and body. He is somewhat insecure so an owner that is confident would be ideal for this adolescent. Trip loves life, and everything around him. He simply just needs to learn some boundaries when it comes to personal space, and expressing his enthusiasm. Remember he is still a puppy. Trip has a tremendous amount of potential to be a wonderful member of someone's family. He is also quite handsome. Trip is a mix of husky/shepherd and will need a fence.DOB 1/15/23 46 PoundsI'm waiting for a home to call my own. email webmaster@petrefuge.com to learn more about me or fill out an application at https://www.petrefuge.com/adoptPet Refuge was formed in 1978 to help with cats and dogs in need of homes.
