Story
Luna is a bit of a different case. She is actually with her adopted family. They have decided that she is a bit more then they can handle right now. The family asked the Rescue to help them out but posting her for them. So to meet Luna please still fill out the adoption application: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSftnYfej0sD5YBq6NfW_bV4VvpZh9StksaZPH4XkxxUTyySkg/viewform Once we receive your application and approve it, we will give you the owners number to call her directly. They are located in Long Island NY. This would be a direct adoption. Luna: She is a beautiful 2.5 year old Husky. She is a very busy girl who needs daily walks, runs or hikes. She does need mental stimulation like all Huskies do. We are looking for a Husky savvy family. If you can have a trainer on board that would be IDEAL! She would love a canine brother or sister. **Serious inquiries only**

Story
Bosco is a sweet nine-year-old Husky that Pets Alive rescued from a condemned house in January. He was in rough shape... Bosco had a large tumor on his leg that our team biopsied, removed, and medically treated for months alongside Catskill Veterinary Services, PLLC. Despite all of Bosco's medical care and attention, he struggles to settle in the shelter environment, and his high stress levels make a smooth recovery nearly impossible. Bosco desperately needs a cozy place to recover and the love and attention only a foster home can provide. Despite our best efforts, the shelter isn't the right place to undergo medical treatment for an extended period. Bosco is searching for a quiet home environment with consistent supervision to help him recover, and we need your help to find one! We are hopeful that there is a Husky-loving supporter out there who can provide Bosco with supervision and lots of love. Please consider opening your heart and home to give Bosco a temporary space to get back to feeling his best! He has been through a lot. Our kennel staff can only do so much, so we really appreciate you sharing this post far and wide. Interested in fostering Bosco? Please email adoptions@petsalive.org for more information! **Please Note** Our pet listings update automatically every 4 hours, so they are as current as possible. Story
Sparkly Sabrina is magical!!! Can you believe that his sweet, beautiful Husky mix girl was abandoned....the people just moved away and left her to starve. It doesn't take long till you realize this dog is an exceptionally smart girl.  She appears to be young at just approximately 2 years and 60 lbs. Always smiling, she is quick to please and equally quick to learn.  Being playful is her happy quality. Sabrina loves to go for walks (or runs!) and is wonderful riding in the car. Her one wish and desire in life to to be with a family or an individual person who will cherish her. She seeks attention, love and reassurance as you might expect an abandoned dog to do.  She adores kind words, pats on the head and belly rubs. In fact, belly rubs are magic to her. She does okay with other dogs but can be a little snarky at times. Her rope is her favorite toy, flinging it gleefully. At time, she is just plain smiley and silly. One of her quirks is her magicical disappearing/escape tricks to get out of an outdoor kennel or fenced yard when alone outside.  She just truly wants to be inside all the time. She is super special and needs an owner   experienced with Huskies.  They are sensitive and devoted dogs with special qualities.  If you are interested please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 7, 2023, 11:54 pm
