Story
Tori is a stunning black and dark caramel female puppy whose beauty is only matched by her resilience. She and her three siblings were heartbreakingly found abandoned in the middle of a quiet country road in rural “cow pasture” country—left where no one would witness the cruel act. Thankfully, fate had other plans. A kind family discovered them just in time, and though overwhelmed at first, they reached out for help. Critter Cavalry Rescue answered the call, and a loving foster home stepped in to give these puppies the second chance they deserved. Now thriving in foster care, Tori has blossomed into a social, affectionate, and confident young pup. She has attended multiple gatherings with both children and adults and quickly wins over everyone she meets—making fast friends wherever she goes. With her long, luxurious coat in rich dark chocolate and caramel tones, she is truly a showstopper. Tori is expected to grow into a beautiful 60-pound dog with a balanced energy level—playful and curious, but not overwhelming. She is already making great progress with crate training and housebreaking, showing just how smart and eager to please she is. Tori would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and enjoy her playful nature. She is the total package—loving, adaptable, and ready to become a cherished member of a lucky family. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Tori is currently in foster care in Nashville, TN, and is available for local adoption as well as placement in the Northeast through transport options. Tori is a breathtaking black and dark caramel puppy with a story that could have ended very differently. She and her three siblings were found abandoned on a remote country road in the middle of “cow pasture” country—left behind where no one would see. But kindness stepped in at just the right moment. A compassionate family found them and, not knowing where to turn, reached out for help. That call led to Critter Cavalry Rescue and a devoted foster home that welcomed these puppies with open arms. Since then, Tori has been given the love and care every puppy deserves—and it shows. She’s grown into a confident, affectionate, and incredibly social girl who happily joins in at gatherings with both kids and adults, charming everyone she meets. She’s the kind of puppy who fits in wherever she goes and makes herself right at home. Tori’s gorgeous coat is a rich blend of dark chocolate and caramel, with soft, longer fur that makes her as striking as she is cuddly. She’s expected to be around 60 pounds when full grown and has a wonderful, balanced energy—playful and curious, but not overwhelming. She’s already doing well with crate training and is learning a solid housebreaking routine, proving she’s both smart and eager to please. This sweet girl will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely stretch her legs and enjoy her playful spirit. More than anything, Tori is ready for a forever family who will love her as much as she will love them. If Tori sounds like the missing piece to your family, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. She is currently in foster care in Nashville, TN, and can be adopted locally or transported to the Northeast for the right home.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 22, 2026, 10:13 pm

Story
Introducing Wheeler – the boy who steals hearts everywhere he goes! This 14 month-old, 45 -pound German Shepherd/Husky mix is as smart as he is handsome. Wheeler has already mastered sit and shake with both paws and became fully housebroken in just one week with his foster family. He’s crate trained, learning to walk well on a leash, and eager to soak up everything that’s taught to him.  This boy with the amazing smile and wonderful ears knows how to steal hearts.  Wheeler is a social butterfly who loves everyone—kids, adults, dogs, and even cats. In fact, he’s convinced the cats in his foster home need constant “baths,” which he happily provides with endless affection. He also enjoys curling up in a lap, whether it belongs to a person or another pup. Wheeler’s past wasn’t easy. He and his brother were abandoned, and he was found underweight and wondering what was going to happen next for him. He runs and plays like a kid and he loves to hang out with his foster mom while she works from home.  This boy needs a fenced yard to access easily at all hours of the day if he wants.  A work from home or stay at home mom would be best for this boy since he cannot be happy being crated for 9 hours daily Monday - Friday.  He is wonderful with cats and does well with dogs when playing with them.  He does want all the attention from the humans and has a touch of jealousy sometimes if another dog gets more pets.  He has an amazing resilient spirit and loves to be the center of attention from his family. What makes this particular boy so special isn’t just his good looks or intelligence—it’s his kind heart. He’s grateful for every bit of love and safety he’s found in rescue, and he’s ready to give that love right back to the family lucky enough to call him their own.  If Wheeler sounds like the perfect match for your family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com. This incredible boy is waiting to meet his forever people, and we know you’ll be smitten from the very first hello. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2026, 12:09 am

Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Fen has spent far too many days watching the world from the end of a chain. When his owner moved away, this 6-year-old Lab/Husky mix was left behind on a lonely tie-out at an empty house, cared for only by kind neighbors who refused to let him be forgotten. They shared that Fen once lived indoors, but as his owner’s health declined, Fen’s life slowly shrank to neglect and isolation. Despite it all, Fen’s heart remains wide open.   This sweet boy is full of gentle enthusiasm and gratitude for every bit of attention. The moment he’s free to stretch his legs, Fen lights up — he loves to run, play, and feel the joy of simply being a dog again. He already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, and shows just how smart and willing he is to listen and learn. Fen wants so badly to connect with people; he leans in for affection like he’s been saving up years of love to give.   Because he’s been forced to live outside for so long, he may need a little patience while relearning house manners and routine — but he’s had a home before, and he’s eager to understand again. Fen is currently underweight, a visible reminder of how he’s been failed, but also a hopeful sign of how much better his future can be with someone who truly cares.   Fen isn’t broken. He’s loving, loyal, and ready to bloom in the hands of a family who will never leave him behind again. All he needs now is a warm place to land, steady meals, and the promise that he’ll always belong.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
