Story
I got Gohan from a local NC breeder when he was 8 weeks old. He is now 1 year and 4 months old and is an awesome dog. He loves to run, walk, eat, and sleep. So a new owner would definitely need to be an active owner, who also doesn’t care to have some dog hair around. He is super smart and has taken to training easier than I would have thought since I trained him myself. He enjoys dog parks and other dogs to a degree. Since he is a husky and is pack driven, once that bond is made he is always in calling range. He rarely cuddles, but at night if allowed on the bed he will easily be a warm body beside you. Since having him for over a year I can proudly say he has never chewed my shoes, clothes, or furniture. He is house trained, but with new environment he will need to be shown where to go to alert when he needs to use the bathroom. Lastly, he is named Gohan after an anime character from Dragon Ball Z, and if you are familiar with that show (Cell Saga Gohan).

Story
Ghost is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and will surely steal your heart! Laid back and very well-mannered, he's the perfect man to, say, bring home to the folks. Ghost enjoys an active lifestyle, with long walks and plenty of time to sniff out the latest smells. Great in the car, he is always up for a fun ride. And a treat! https://fb.watch/rmzWnrvSZZ/?mibextid=CmRSLE Although he is gentle and likes children, Ghost would probably be best with adults. Especially those who enjoy philosophical conversations about the meaning of life! Although Ghost is inclined to wonder whether being an only dog may be the best way to live, he is drawn to gentle female dogs and could likely live happily with another dog. Ghost's accomplishments are many. He takes treats gently and will not jump up on you. He is great on a leash, is house-trained and crate-trained, and will go into the crate upon request and sleeps overnight there without a sound. He has his silly, zoomy moments, like when chasing after his favorite toy he runs around the room. Very smart, Ghost would enjoy being mentally stimulated as well, and we encourage future partners to read up on some of the activities and training that will delight a dog like Ghost. Huskies are an inquisitive and active breed who can . . . um . . . pursue the wide world on their own if inadvertently given the opportunity. A large yard with a 6-foot privacy fence and time spent with fun games will help keep him well entertained and contained. This gorgeous dog will surely make some lucky family a wonderful, loving companion! HEALTH Ghost is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. HISTORY Ghost was found as a stray. His owners were located and contacted but did not want him back. Luckily, one of IAR's fosters intervened and brought him into the program! PHYSICAL Ghost is white with golden highlights on his ears, neck and down his back. His fluffy white tail often curls over his back.

Story
Star is playful, affectionate, intelligent, and energetic. He has expressive eyes and a sweetly mischievous disposition. He is always looking to learn or play, and he loves to work on new skills and tricks -- and to show them off! He melts into cuddles and belly rubs. He may look regal when running or bounding along -- but as soon as you get to know him his playful and silly spirit, and his eagerness to please, shine through and are what really define his personality. He has a quizzical face tilt to rival all others! Star's best day would include an opportunity for one or two long walks or runs, a chance to practice some of his new tricks, and lots of snuggles and belly rubs to let him know what a good boy he is! Star will thrive in a place where he can be a single pet or where there is a very established dog to help show him the ropes. As a very intelligent "working dog" Star needs to have a job, and training/learning is a great challenge to stimulate him. Star has been going to weekly training classes-and he is a STAR. HISTORY Star was adopted as a puppy from IAR but his owner passed away. PHYSICAL Star is very graceful and the first thing you notice about him is his gorgeous marking and bright eyes. HEALTH Star is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.

Story
Bella Moon is very loving, affectionate, and friendly. She is looking for a home with at least a 5-foot fenced yard, as she loves the outdoors and prefers to spend most of her day outside (as long as she is not left on her own when no one is home). You can find her in a lawn chair when she needs a rest from playing in the yard (see her photo), checking out the world or napping. She also adores going for walks and loves riding in the car. At this time, Bella is best suited for a home with no other dogs or young children, as she is still practicing interacting with new dogs and people. She has, however, learned a healthy respect for cats! Highly intelligent and motivated to please, Bella learns very quickly and in just a week mastered Sit, Out, Wait (even when she's in the car), No, and Down (check out her video playing her favorite game of fetch-she even will bring the toy back to you! (Check out her video!) Although she is not crate-trained she does not need to be crated, as she doesn't bother any belongings and is potty trained. Bella is already great with loose-leashing walking, and her foster mom says, "It's so relaxing walking with her." Very curious and attentive, Bella will let you know when there is a stray chicken or bird threatening the well-being of the household. An independent gal, she often entertains herself playing with her toys. And she is respectful of them and never tears any of them up. See her delight with a squeaky one: (Check out her video!) Bella sleeps about 8.5 hours during the night and enjoys a nap for an hour or so daily. HISTORY Bella Moon was taken to a local shelter after her owner needed to move in with family, who did not want a dog. HEALTH Bella Moon is up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm negative, and will be microchipped and spayed soon. PHYSICAL Bella Moon has a beautiful white coat that feels like a cotton ball. On her ears and elsewhere are apricot markings. She has one brown eye and one blue eye, and a fluffy tail.
