He's been doing well on a leash and enjoys spending time with people. Spike is also great with kids, making him a wonderful candidate for a family looking to add a four-legged friend. While toys don't seem to be his thing, he's content hanging out with his favorite humans—and he's a bit of a treat critic, so it may take some trial and error to discover his favorite snack! This handsome guy has a gentle, easygoing personality and enjoys spending time with his people. He walks nicely on a leash and loves getting outside to explore. While he's playful, it's clear he hasn't had many chances to just be a dog—he doesn't really know what toys are yet! We can't wait for someone to introduce him to the joy of playtime. Remi did well during his dog evaluation. He was happy to be around another dog but wasn't interested in starting a game of chase or wrestling. He's more of a "you do your thing, I'll do mine" kind of guy. Because he can be protective of his food, he'll need to be fed separately from any canine siblings. Remi is not a good fit for a home with cats, but he could do well with a respectful dog companion and is great with children. His future family should also plan on regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. This powdered sugar faced guy is still pretty new to FDHS, but he has already stolen plenty of hearts. So far, Lycan has been an absolute angel. He keeps a tidy kennel, is easy for our staff to handle, and is just an all around happy guy. He’s been pretty indifferent to the other animals and the only time he really makes himself known is when he starts serenading everyone with his Husky songs. It’s easy to see that Lycan was once a cherished member of a family, and we’d love nothing more than to help him find that feeling again. She has an adorable personality. She loves to do butt tucks and spin in a circle when excited. She is quickly learning to enjoy toys. She is very friendly and would love an adventure buddy. She has a personality that draws people to her. She can't wait to find her forever family. She has been great with other dogs and children. We are unsure about cats. She might need help with house training. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is $250. Maverick was in the shelter, i wanted a dog for a really long time as soon as i seen him immediately knew he was the dog. i adopted him and brought him home, he is a very silly dog who loves attention and company. having another dog for maverick is ideal considering he loves to play. he’s a very vocal dog when he wants attention but he’s sweet. he is a puppy so he does puppy pee when he gets very excited. he will start to whine when he wants outside and he does like to be outside he will sit at the door but once u try to bring him inside he’ll run back to the yard he likes playing fetch. he is a good dog but when i adopted him i didn’t think id be moving into a place so fast and unable to have him.
