Meet Marshmallow. Marshmallow came to us from a rough humane case, but you'd never know it by his joyful spirit. This sweet, goofy boy lives for playtime with his people and absolutely loves to show off his lightning-fast zoomies in the yard. Rain? Snow? Sunshine? He doesn't mind one bit - as long as he gets to be outside having fun. Just beware mud puddles are his absolute favorite! He does wonderfully with kids of all ages and thrives on attention and activity. When it comes to cats, Marshmallow has a high prey drive and has not done well with the house cats at the shelter. With other dogs, he can be a bit selective doing really well with some and not so great with a few others. If you have a canine companion already in your home, we ask that a meet and greet is scheduled before deciding to take Marshmallow home! Marshmallow is still polishing up on his manners - he's working on his potty training and can get a bit jumpy when he gets very excited. But with his eagerness to learn he would truly blossom with a family ready to turn training into a fun bonding adventure. An active home with a yard or one that could take him on frequent walks would be perfect for this energetic sweetheart. If you are looking for a loyal and playful best friend who will keep you laughing (and maybe a little muddy), Marshmallow is ready to run straight into your heart! I came in as a stray on 12/17/25 and I’m around 4 years old, which means I’m mature… but also ZOOMY. First things first—have you SEEN my smile?! And my gorgeous blue eyes?! I am a very handsome guy and I would like you to admire me for at least a full 10 seconds. Thank you. Okay so yes, I might be a little shy at first. Just for a moment. A teeny tiny pause. And then BOOM—I warm up and suddenly I want ALL the affection. Pets? Yes. More pets? YES. Don’t stop. Ever. I really want to play and I have LOTS of energy and I am ALWAYS MOVING, but toys are… confusing? Like, what are they for? Are they snacks? Are they friends? I’m still figuring that part out. She was found in critical condition with infected wounds that required emergency surgery and days of intensive hospital care. Her babies were bottle-fed around the clock while she fought to recover.Shes met other animals in her foster home, including the cat who has appointed himself the official welcome committee for every new foster, along with 3 other dogs.
