We’re seeking a committed adopter for Marley. Marley is a typical Husky: goofy, squirrelly, playful, and active. He has been passed around from home to home and needs some stability. Huskies certainly aren’t for everybody, but they’re SO MUCH FUN if you’re crazy like us.Marley’s history:November 2024: Taken in by Franklin County Dog Shelter. Nov 2024-Feb 2025: Adopted from FCDS and rehomed at least three timesFeb 2025: Picked up in Marion County as a strayMarley is a very good boy. We believe he’s about two years old. We’re definitely open to doing meet and greets with kids and dogs! He just needs a home without cats. If you can offer Marley a FOREVER home, please reach out!

He’s basically a fluffy missile of fun, ready to zoom through your life at full speed—but in the best way possible.Bo loves kids (bonus points if they throw balls) and other dogs (especially ones who can keep up with his sled-dog-level enthusiasm). Cats? Not so much—he treats them like tiny, unpredictable ninjas, so he’ll need a home without our feline friends.This goofy guy enjoys zoomies, dramatic howls at the moon, and convincing humans that belly rubs are mandatory life experiences. Bo is looking for a forever family who can keep up with his energy, laugh at his antics, and maybe even join him in a spontaneous snow roll or two. ❄️😆Bo is more than a dog—he’s a four-legged comedy show waiting to move in.More information? Marshmallow 🍫🔥 Meet Marshmallow, the sweet, squishy pup who’s ready to melt your heart! Though he was dealt a rough hand in life, this goofball is all about toasting up some fun and finding a home where he can be his goofy self. Marshmallow needs a home without cats. He is dog selective. He does not do well with the male dogs here. He seems to do better with female dogs. If you have a female dog, we could do a meet and greet. Marshmallow has done well with children. Like a perfect s’more, Marshmallow’s heart is filled with sweetness, and he’s ready to share that love with a family who’ll appreciate his playful spirit. He’s the kind of dog who might be a little gooey around the edges, but once you give him a chance, he’ll be the most delightful treat you could ask for. So, grab a seat by the campfire—Marshmallow is ready to be the marshmallow to your s’more!

Meet Eddie! This energetic lad is all about playtime, cuddles, and naps (in that order) - there is not a moment where this husky isn't thinking about showing off his acrobatic skills. Though his brain may work on a setting of his own, he is certainly very attentive when it comes to treats. If you want a best friend who will keep you active on your toes, Eddie is for you!   Kids: With how energetic Eddie is, we recommend children 12+ to handle his intense for attention. Dogs: Eddie seems to enjoy other canine companions so far. We always recommend patience and caution during introductions for the best chance of success. Cats: Eddie does not do well with feline friends and cannot be adopted to a home with cats. Some of Eddie’s favorite things: peanut butter, playing fetch, running around, singing you his favorite songs, snow days, learning tricks, being brushed   Eddie is Neutered, Microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines and preventions! Sapphire is a gorgeous new face here at FDHS! This stunning Husky was found running loose in the cold for several days before finally being brought to safety. After warming up and enjoying a full belly, her personality is starting to shine through and we’re loving what we see so far.Sapphire LOVES to sing and has just a touch of Husky drama. She walks beautifully on leash and keeps her kennel super clean throughout the day. She will need to be closely supervised and always taken outside on leash, as she can clear a six-foot fence with ease. Because of this, Sapphire is looking for a loving, active home that’s ready to keep both her body and brain busy with regular walks, runs, and enrichment.She’s shown curiosity about making dog friends, but we’re still learning how she feels about cats and other small animals.All that gorgeous white Husky floof does come with a price, lots of hair! Sapphire will need daily brushing and routine grooming to keep her coat healthy and looking its best.Though she can be a little timid at first, Sapphire has been incredibly sweet with our staff and volunteers. If you’re interested in giving this beautiful girl a loving home, please submit an adoption application.
