Story
Meet Milo Age: 2 yearsBreed: Husky MixStatus: Professional optimist. Amateur listener. Some dogs strive to be the smartest dog in the room. Milo strives to be the happiest... and honestly, he`s winning.Milo is a two-year-old Husky mix with a permanent smile, a heart full of love, and just enough Husky stubbornness to keep you humble. Every day is an adventure in his eyes, whether it`s meeting a new friend, chasing a toy, or sniffing something that absolutely cannot wait. One thing is certain, Milo loves people. Men, women, visitors... they`re all potential best friends. He`ll happily greet new faces with his signature `please love me` ears and, if you`re lucky, he`ll sneak in a kiss before you know what happened. While he`s affectionate, he still has that independent Husky streak. Cuddles happen when he decides it`s time, and honestly, they`re worth the wait.Now... about training.Milo is fully aware that obedience is a thing. He`s just not convinced it`s for him.Ask for a sit? He might suddenly become fascinated by a blade of grass. Call him to come inside? If he`s having fun, you`ve unknowingly entered the game `Good Luck Catching Me.` Rain, snow, sunshine it doesn`t matter. Milo thinks it`s hilarious.Thankfully, Mother Nature helps us out because he`s heat-sensitive. Once it`s hot outside, even Milo agrees it`s time for a break. With the right equipment, Milo is a pleasure to walk, but he`s a strong young dog who can pull if something catches his attention. He also has a healthy prey drive, so a home without cats or other small animals would be best. He`s generally friendly around other dogs and approaches female dogs politely, but if another dog becomes reactive, Milo can get caught up in the excitement. Like any dog, thoughtful introductions are the key to success. One of the cutest things about Milo has been watching him discover toys. He`s recently realized they`re actually pretty fun, and giggle balls and noisy toys have quickly become his latest obsession.Meal time? Zero complaints. Milo is an excellent eater, happily finishes every meal, enjoys food puzzles and enrichment, and has shown no resource guarding with people.Milo is looking for an active home that appreciates a dog with a big personality. He won`t be the perfectly polished obedience champion but he will be the dog that makes you laugh every single day.Milo at a Glance Loves

💛 Meet Harley and Shelby — Two Beautiful Sisters, One Very Special Bond Harley and Shelby are four-year-old twin sisters with the kind of connection that makes you stop and smile. These beautiful girls have grown up side by side, and their bond is truly something special. They run together, wrestle together, explore together, and find comfort in knowing the other is always close by. Watching them play is pure joy — two happy hearts moving through the world as a team. They are healthy, spayed, up to date on their shots, housetrained, and about 27 kg. They are good with people, well behaved on leash and off, ride nicely in the car, and love walks, adventures, and time outdoors. They are happy, joyful girls who enjoy life’s simple pleasures: a good meal, a fun outing, a chance to stretch their legs, and a cozy home where they can settle in afterward. Inside the home, Harley and Shelby are calm, quiet, tidy, and not destructive. They know how to enjoy the fun parts of life, but they also know how to relax. Picture them coming home after a walk, curling up nearby while the house settles, and filling the room with that peaceful feeling only dogs can bring. They are the kind of companions who make ordinary days feel warmer. Shelby, the sister with the darker face, is the more outgoing and athletic of the two. She loves car rides, enjoys being outside, and has an energetic, adventurous spirit. Harley is a softer soul — a little more shy, a little more watchful, and happiest when she can curl up on the sofa and feel safe with the people she trusts. Together, they balance each other beautifully. Shelby brings the spark, Harley brings the sweetness, and together they bring so much love. They can be a little nervous with strangers at first, but once they know you, their affectionate side begins to shine. Their trust is something precious, and the family who earns it will be rewarded with loyalty, love, laughter, and the heartwarming sight of two sisters who are happiest when they are together. Because Harley and Shelby are so deeply bonded, we are looking for a home where they can stay together. They are not just two dogs looking for a place to live — they are sisters, best friends, and a ready-made little family. For the right home, they will bring double the joy, double the love, and double the reason to smile every single day. If you have room in your heart and home for these two incredible girls, we would love for you to meet them. **Note: Currently, Saenan is in a foster home in Surrey, BC.For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click this link.BackgroundBeautiful Saenan was rescued from a city pound in Sangju, Korea, last winter. He lived with other dogs at our partner boarding house until he left Korea. Currently, he lives in a foster home in Surrey, BC.Personality & SocializationSaenan has a medium to high energy level, but he is not overly hyper. He carries a happy and balanced kind of energy that makes him a really easy companion to live with. He loves being outside, whether it is going for walks, getting fresh air, or simply lying in the sun and relaxing. When it comes to other dogs, Saenan has been very sociable and well-mannered. He spends most of his time with dogs around his size, and he’s always comfortable and loving in their company. He gets along easily and enjoys being part of the group.Saenan is also very affectionate and friendly with people, men, women, and even new faces. He warms up quickly to anyone who shows him kindness and loves being close to his humans.BehavioursSaenan has been an easygoing dog since joining our adoption program. He rides well in the car, does fine during baths and vet visits, and follows his human’s lead nicely. He has recently discovered the joy of playing with toys, and it is adorable to watch. Seeing him pick up a toy and happily entertain himself is such a sweet moment. He plays with a gentle, curious excitement that really shows his playful and innocent side.He enjoys a calm, happy routine and a peaceful home environment. After his outdoor play sessions, he relaxes quietly and enjoys cuddling or resting beside his friends. Saenan walks well on leash and hasn’t shown destructive behaviors.Health & DietWhen rescued, Saenan was treated for heartworm and has made a full recovery. He is now healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has shown no allergies.Ideal HomeSeanan would do best with someone familiar with the breed or at least experienced with large dogs. Compared to other Huskies, he has a more mellow and easygoing personality and does not require as much exercise. He would enjoy a home with another friendly large dog, as he likes being around other dogs. However, he would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in a home that enjoys walks and spending time outdoors with him. Seanan is very smart, loyal, and loving. He will be a devoted and wonderful companion.**Note: Currently, Saenan is in a foster home in Surrey, BC.For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click this link.

Story
Hi… I’m Lala 💕 I’m a 3-year-old husky girl, about 15kg, a little smaller than most huskies—but perfectly squishy and cute if you ask me. I have odd eyes (yes, I know, they’re gorgeous 👀✨) and a fluffy body that’s made for hugs. My life didn’t start out easy. I was once on the list at a city shelter, but kind humans gave me a second chance. When I was rescued, I had heartworm, but it was caught early and I finished my treatment like a champ 💪 Now I’m healthy and ready to start my real life—with you. I love people. Like… really love them. I don’t care if we just met—I’ll happily come say hi, wag my tail, and ask for your attention. I adore gentle hands, affection, and being noticed. If you look at me, I’ll probably already be walking toward you 🥰 I get along great with other dogs too! I enjoy having friends and exploring the world together. On walks, I can be a little curious (okay… very curious 👃), so sometimes I pull on the leash. I’m learning though! With patience and consistency, I promise I can get better. Because I spent a long time in a shelter, home life is new to me. At first, I might need a little time to adjust. I may feel anxious when left alone, and sometimes I express my feelings with husky-style howling 🎶 (I can be a bit dramatic). I’m also still learning outdoor potty routines, so I’ll need regular walks and kind guidance. That’s why I’m hoping for a family who understands huskies—or is willing to learn about us. Someone patient, steady, and ready to grow together with me. I learn fast when I’m loved, and I truly want to do well. If you choose me, I promise this: I’ll give you my whole heart. I’ll walk beside you, talk to you in my husky voice, and become your most loyal friend. With the right family, I know I can be the kind of dog who stays with you for life—through ordinary days and special ones. Could that family be you? 🐾💙
