Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: double hip dysplasia - under control Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) 🌟 Meet Ghost – The Dog Who Survived the Unthinkable 🌟 Ghost’s story is not an easy one to tell. In Mexico, he suffered cruelty no animal should ever endure—he was beaten with a shovel by a vicious couple, left broken in body and spirit. On top of that, he was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia. But somehow… this boy never gave up. He held onto hope, and he held onto love. Ghost is a beautiful, gentle soul with a big personality. He’s a bit of a chatterbox so he’ll happily let you know when it’s mealtime! He walks wonderfully on leash and absolutely loves to swim, which is one of his favourite ways to enjoy the outdoors. Ghost thrives on a strict routine. Regular bathroom breaks and a structured schedule help him feel secure and prevent any accidents. He does have some anxiety, so he’ll do best in a calm home where someone is around often to give him the reassurance he needs. Ghost’s ideal home would be one with a fenced in backyard. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, but he isn’t suited to households with children or loud, unpredictable environments. Ghost is also managing hip dysplasia very wel but he’ll need an adopter committed to supporting his ongoing care and comfort. If you can offer Ghost the patient, steady, and loving home he deserves, he’ll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of heart. If you feel you would be the right fit for Ghost, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!

Story
**Note: currently, Saenan is in Korea. but he will fly to Toronto once he is adopted. Background Beautiful Saenan was rescued from a city pound in Sangju, Korea, last winter. Since then, he’s been living safely at our partner boarding house, sharing his days with other rescue dogs. Personality & Socialization Saenan is a happy, bright boy with a big heart. He loves to play with other dogs. Especially those who enjoy running and chasing just like him. Being a Husky, he’s full of energy and joy, and outdoor playtime is truly his favorite part of the day. When it comes to other dogs, Saenan has been very sociable and well-mannered. He spends most of his time with dogs around his size, and he’s always comfortable and loving in their company. He gets along easily and enjoys being part of the group. Saenan is also very affectionate and friendly with people, men, women, and even new faces. He warms up quickly to anyone who shows him kindness and loves being close to his humans. Behaviours Saenan has been an easygoing dog since joining our adoption program. He rides well in the car, does fine during baths and vet visits, and follows his human’s lead nicely. He doesn’t bark excessively and enjoys a calm, happy routine. After his outdoor play sessions, he relaxes quietly and enjoys cuddling or resting beside his friends. Saenan walks well on leash and hasn’t shown destructive behaviors. Health & Diet When rescued, Saenan was treated for heartworm and has made a full recovery. He is now healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has shown no allergies. Ideal Home Saenan would do best with someone familiar with the Husky breed. Ideally, a family who understands their energy and exercise needs. He would love a home with another friendly, playful dog around his size to keep him company and share his adventures. An active person or family who enjoys outdoor activities would be a perfect match for him. Saenan is very loyal, smart, and loving, whoever welcomes him home will be very lucky to have such a faithful companion. ---------------------------- For more info about the dog or the adoption agreement, please submit your link. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/saenan/

Story
Quick Facts Name: StellaAge: 2.5 years old (born May 2022)Gender: FemaleNeutered: YesBreed: HuskyColour: White & BlackWeight: 25 kg approximate    My Story I’m Stella, a brave and loving Siberian Husky with a heart full of courage and a spirit that shines brighter than ever. Let me tell you my story!I’m a beautiful black-and-white Husky, weighing about 25 kg (55 lbs). My journey began in a breeding facility where I endured tough conditions before being rescued from a local shelter. Along the way, I faced some challenges, including glaucoma, which led to the removal of my eyes. But don’t let that fool you—I navigate the world with confidence, relying on my other senses and my incredible memory to thrive. Thanks to loving volunteers, I’ve blossomed into a happy, affectionate pup who’s ready to find her forever home.    My Personality I’m a friendly and affectionate girl who loves people. While I had a rough start and was wary of humans initially, I’ve completely opened up and now adore spending time with those who care for me. I’m full of energy, playful, and love to show off my sweet and goofy side. I might get startled if someone touches my face unexpectedly, but with gentle guidance, I quickly regain my trust and composure. Once I know you’re my person, I’ll remember you forever—my loyalty knows no bounds.    My Social Side I’m great with people and enjoy meeting new friends, both human and canine. While I’m happy to share my space and food with people, I might give a little growl if another dog approaches my food bowl—it’s just my way of setting boundaries. I rarely bark, and my calm demeanor makes me a great companion. I’ve adjusted well to life without sight and navigate social situations with ease, relying on my incredible memory and intuition.    Energy and Activities I have a moderate to high energy level typical of Huskies, so I love getting outside for walks and playtime. Despite my blindness, I walk beautifully on a leash and enjoy exploring the world around me with my human. At home, I settle down nicely after some activity and enjoy quiet time by your side. I’m house-trained, comfortable with both outdoor potty routines and indoor pads, making me adaptable to various living arrangements.   Special Notes I’m a resilient, affectionate dog who’s overcome challenges with grace and a wagging tail. My unique journey has only made me stronger and more loving. I don’t let my blindness slow me down—I’m still as playful, active, and joyful as any other dog. With my incredible memory and bond with people, I’ll be your most loyal companion. I might need a bit of extra understanding, but I’ll reward you with endless love, cuddles, and unforgettable moments!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Stella's Playlist ##2458332##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Howell Age: Around 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Husky mix Color: Grey & white Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound, where I had been placed on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn’t enough space. Thanks to my rescuers, I got a second chance at life—and now, I’m safe and dreaming of finding my forever family to love and care for me!   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I have all the charm of a typical husky and still act like a very young pup! My teeth are so clean that staff and volunteers believe I’m around 1–2 years old. I’m a super energetic girl who may seem a little reserved at first, but I warm up quickly and don’t have much trouble bonding with people. I get along well with other dogs too, though I do best with furry friends who can match my high energy and love for play!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little reserved at first, but I’ll gladly take treats from your hand. Give me a bit of time, and I’ll warm up to you before you know it! I’m also comfortable being picked up, making me a sweet and affectionate companion. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends and playing with them! I’m very energetic, so I do best with dogs who have a similar play style. If another dog is pushy or rude, I’m not afraid to stand my ground, so slow and thoughtful introductions are important at first when I meet new furry friends. · With Cats: During walks, I get super excited and can’t resist chasing cats when I see them outside. Due to this, I would do best in a home without small animals or cats, where I can safely enjoy my adventures and focus on having fun with my family!   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I’m a super high-energy girl—just like a typical husky! I thrive on plenty of outdoor adventures and mental stimulation before I can settle down nicely indoors. With the right activities, I’m happy, playful, and full of life!   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still polishing my leash walking skills—I get super excited and tend to pull a lot! With continued guidance, I’ll learn to be calmer during walks. Loud noises can startle me, so I walk best in quieter areas. I don’t guard my food around people, but I can be sensitive when other dogs come near me during mealtime, so I’ll need structure and management then. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel, and I’m confident getting on and off the car. I potty both indoors on a pee pad and outdoors, though with a consistent walk schedule, I prefer to go outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands that I will need more guidance with leash walking.  A family that understands my high energy needs and ideally experienced with huskies.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, which means I’ll need at least a few days to a week to adjust to my new environment. I’m a super sweet girl with so much potential! I already know some basic commands, like sit and wait, and I’m eager to learn even more. For my safety, it’s important that I’m double-leashed with a harness and collar at first, so I don’t accidentally slip out while getting used to my new surroundings.   Howell's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2613215##
