Story
Hi, I`m Bear! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I have a behavior waiver stating that I`ve harmed livestock. Staff will discuss this with you further.Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting friendly female dogs here at the shelter, but not so much male dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a kitty-free home due to prey drive.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful of me. 10+I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hello, I`m Salty! I`m about 6 years old and weigh 63 pounds.** Here is what a volunteer says about me:`Salty is well-behaved, gentle, easy to walk, and affectionate. He was very cuddly my first time meeting him. Also, he is even more handsome than his photos.` **Do you like...Dogs? I can be choosy with the dogs I like. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet me.Cats? My history is a mystery. A slow introduction would help set us up for success. Kids? I don`t have a known history with kids, but I am an energetic young man. 10+Anything else you`d like us to know, Salty? I`m both energetic and cuddly! Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jake is approximately one year old and came from a shelter situation in Huron, Ca. I was told he likely spent much of his early life confined to a cage, so he is shy and slow to trust new people. He is non-aggressive and very sweet once he bonds with someone.I have worked with him and his sister Maggie every day, and they have both made progress. Jake can walk on a leash and knows simple commands, but he is still nervous around new people particularly men.Jake is very bonded with Maggie and they are inseparable. They sleep together, look for each other when separated, and are much more confident together, so they should be placed in a home together.I am leaving the country at the end of April and am unable to keep them, so I am trying to find the right placement for both of them together.

Story
Maggie is approximately one year old and came from a shelter situation in Huron, Ca. I was told she likely spent much of her early life confined to a cage, so she is shy and anxious and slow to trust new people. She is not aggressive, but she is very fearful and will retreat when scared. I have worked with her and her brother Jake every day, and she has made progress and bonded closely with me. She has learned to walk on a leash and is slowly gaining confidence, but she is still very nervous around new people, particularly men. Maggie is very bonded with Jake and they are inseparable. They rely on each other for comfort and confidence, so they should be placed in a home together. I am leaving the country at the end of April and am unable to keep them, so I am trying to find the right placement for them together.
