Story
Hi, I`m Bear! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I have a behavior waiver stating that I`ve harmed livestock. Staff will discuss this with you further.I am currently in a foster home. Please contact Canine Program staff if you would like to meet me!I`m eligible for Greenhill`s Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.** Here is what a volunteer says about me:`Bear is precious, well-mannered, and affectionate. He is fun to play with and easy to be around.` **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting friendly female dogs here at the shelter, but not so much male dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a kitty-free home due to prey drive.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful of me. 10+I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hi, I`m Ska! I`m about 3 years old and weigh 60 pounds.** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I haven`t had a chance to meet any new dogs at the shelter yet. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet.Cats? Unknown. My forever family would need to be dedicated to slow introductions and separation of space to set us up for success.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful with me. 8+Anything else you`d like us to know, Ska? I`ve been a friendly, easygoing fella at the shelter so far! I can`t wait to be your best friend and adventure buddy for life!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. Story
Dr. Teeth was found on 5/22/26 at Oakdale Ave and Pheasant Blvd. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
