Story
Mocha was found on 12/2/2025. He was found at Stewart Pond Disc Golf Course. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I`m Luna! I`m about 1 year old and weigh 69 pounds. I have a behavior waiver regarding a high prey drive, that staff can tell you more about when you come to meet me! Do you like...Dogs? I`m not sure, please bring similarly sized dogs in the home with you when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a home without kitties or other small animals. Kids? I`m a pretty friendly gal, but may not be appropriate for little kiddos due to my big puppy/jumpy behaviors. Please bring all kiddos in the home with you when you come to meet me. (10+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Luna? I`d thrive in a home that will keep me active and engaged! I`d make quite the co-pilot on outdoorsy adventures, so if that sounds like your lifestyle, come out and meet me! I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Meet Prince – Your Loyal and Adventurous Companion Prince is a stunning 3-year-old Siberian Husky with a heart as big as his beautiful coat. This resilient boy was found as a stray, already neutered and microchipped, but sadly, his owner never came forward. When rescued, Prince’s fur was so severely matted that it required removal under anesthesia, revealing painful sores underneath. Now fully healed, Prince is ready to leave his past behind and find the loving forever home he deserves. True to his breed, Prince is a spirited and adventurous pup who loves to explore. While he enjoys outdoor time, his ability to climb fences means he needs a home with supervised outdoor activities or a family committed to taking him on walks and adventures. He rides like a dream in the car, making him a perfect partner for road trips or weekend getaways. Indoors, Prince is an affectionate and loving companion who adores snuggling up with his people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great addition to a home with canine siblings. Though he’s still working on his potty training, Prince is eager to please and will thrive with consistency and patience. If you’re searching for a loyal, playful, and adventurous friend who will shower you with affection, Prince might just be the perfect match. With his resilient spirit and loving nature, he’s ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, care, and endless adventures. Could Prince be the missing piece of your family? Prince is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported out of state. Adoption fee is $250 in Texas, $600 out of state to cover the health certificate and transport costs.

Story
Hi. I`m Freyja!! I am a sweet girl looking for a human companion I can call my best friend. I have beautiful icy blue eyes that will melt your heart. I met a few dogs at Heartland, I tolerated being around them but I prefer not to share my things. I would do best in a single-dog home with adults. I have lived with cats before and did ok. I`m a curvy lady and would love a home where I can get lots of exercise and a well-managed diet to help me live my best life. Come to Heartland to meet me in kennels. My adoption fee is $225.
