Story
Hi, I`m Bear! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I have a behavior waiver stating that I`ve harmed livestock. Staff will discuss this with you further.Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting friendly female dogs here at the shelter, but not so much male dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a kitty-free home due to prey drive.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful of me. 10+I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hi, I`m Pelican! I`m about 3 years old and weigh 59 pounds. I have a medical waiver that staff can tell you more about when you meet me.Do you like...Dogs? I haven`t shown any interest with other dogs here at the shelter. I may be able to live with another calm dog who can co-exist with me. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me.Cats? My history is a mystery. A slow introduction would help set us up for success. Kids? I`m a little shy, so a quieter home may be best for me. 8+Anything else you`d like us to know, Pelican? I`ve been a laid back dude while here at the shelter. I may need time to fully open up for you to see my true personality. Staff have discovered I can give a very good husky howl when I`m bored! I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Adoption Fee: $210Weight: 68 lbsArrival Date: 4/8/26Microchip ID #: 941010004532981Grizzle is a handsome husky mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This sweet boy loves nothing more than getting out for a good walk, making new human friends, and then winding down with some quality couch time. Whether he’s exploring the neighborhood or lounging by your side, Grizzle is happiest when he’s with his people.Grizzle has been diagnosed with Discoid Lupus Erythematosus (DLE), a manageable autoimmune condition that affects his skin. He’s currently on medication to keep it under control and does great with his routine. His future family should be comfortable continuing his care and working with a veterinarian to keep him feeling his best.Like many husky mixes, Grizzle has a strong prey drive and plenty of energy to burn. He’ll thrive in an active home that can give him regular exercise and mental stimulation. Because of his instincts, he cannot live in a home with chickens, livestock, or similar animals.Grizzle is a loving, loyal companion who will reward you with affection, companionship, and lots of happy tail wags. If you’re looking for an energetic adventure buddy who also appreciates a good cuddle session, Grizzle might just be your perfect match!Grizzle is currently in a loving foster home.
