Story
We love our Ozzy boy and are sad to consider rehoming him. We had our first baby about a year and a half ago and have tried our best to make it work. Our biggest concern is him not getting enough stimulation anymore. He’s never gotten aggressive with our baby but he gets nervous when our baby goes towards him since babies don’t always know how to be gentle or behave around dogs. He loves his daily walks but his favorite thing is to be off leash and be able to roam. He has a sensitive stomach that he receives medicine for each night. We simply get a syringe and administer the medicine orally which he takes really well. It’s managed good at this point and his medicine is about $60 every month and a half. He has a big heart and we will miss him a lot. He has a super gentle nature and is instinctually a teddy bear even though he likes to act like he’s super tough. We want to rehome him to somebody post that can provide enough companionship and entertainment.

Story
Takoda is a good dog. Well behaved, always up for walks and is pretty calm. He is leash trained but I’ve also walked him without a leash an he stays with me. He loves playing with other dogs and has never started a fight. He is house trained, also He loves to just lay with you and watch tv. He gets along with cats, and does good with meeting new dogs. He don’t bark at people or other dogs. He can dig if anxious but he does not have a digging problem, he will dig a hole to lay in sometimes but don’t dig up plants or flowers or anything like that. I’ve had him a long time but can no longer take care of him. I would hate to drop him off at a shelter

Story
Jesse is 5 years old and very active gentle and very loving and likes to play. He's good in the house and house trained he will let you know when he needs to go. I'm only rehoming him because his owner passed away . And I find it kind of cruel to keep him in a small apartment with no yard but a patio. I am as god mom and I want to make sure he has a forever home with the big yard and a loving family.

Story
Hi, I`m Bear! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I have a behavior waiver stating that I`ve harmed livestock. Staff will discuss this with you further.Large dogs aren’t harder to love - sometimes they just need a little extra support. Ask us about our More to Love adoption resources for large breed dogs and puppies.I`m eligible for Greenhill`s Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.** I`m a volunteer favorite and here`s why:`Bear is precious, well-mannered, and affectionate. He is fun to play with and easy to be around.``Bear is a handsome, super-nice husky. He`s such a friendly, affectionate dog. I really enjoy being with him.` **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting friendly female dogs here at the shelter, but not so much male dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a kitty-free home due to prey drive.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful of me. 10+I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
