Hello, I`m Xena! I`m almost 2 years old and weigh roughly 56 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I love to play with other dogs who match my energy. I might be too much for some dogs. Any future doggie family members should come and meet me before we go home together.Cats? It is unknown how I would do around a cat. With a proper, slow introduction and some training I might be able to live with cats.Kids? I haven`t been around any kids at the shelter but I`m a super friendly dog. It is suspected I would do well with kids big enough I wouldn`t knock over during play. Suggested kids 6+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Xena? I`ve spent a lot of time in a foster home here at the shelter and I do great! I need a little training on some basic manners but overall I would be a fabulous pet for anyone who has time to love and play with me! I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Jasper is an unbelievably sweet boy, and is obsessed with snuggling and laying on you. He thinks he’s a lap dog! He is fully vaccinated and neutered, 56lbs. Unfortunately, I need to rehome him due to his reactivity to my cat, but he is VERY good with my 5yr old female pittie mix. He’s incredibly submissive to both her and to people, but has a high prey drive and from what I have seen should NOT be in a home with small animals (cats, chickens, pocket pets, etc.) unless you are able to separate indefinitely if needed. He knows how to settle down without protest and loves stuffie toys and chasing balls. I have a very nice crate if needed. Although we’re still working on it, he is able to relax in the crate and sleeps and eats in it. I haven’t had him for very long, and truly don’t think it’s smart to try to prolong the risk in my home to train his prey drive out. Owner with husky or high-energy breed experience preferred. Please reach out, anyone would be so incredibly lucky to have him
