Story
We love our Ozzy boy and are sad to consider rehoming him. We had our first baby about a year and a half ago and have tried our best to make it work. Our biggest concern is him not getting enough stimulation anymore. He’s never gotten aggressive with our baby but he gets nervous when our baby goes towards him since babies don’t always know how to be gentle or behave around dogs. He loves his daily walks but his favorite thing is to be off leash and be able to roam. He has a sensitive stomach that he receives medicine for each night. We simply get a syringe and administer the medicine orally which he takes really well. It’s managed good at this point and his medicine is about $60 every month and a half. He has a big heart and we will miss him a lot. He has a super gentle nature and is instinctually a teddy bear even though he likes to act like he’s super tough. We want to rehome him to somebody post that can provide enough companionship and entertainment.

Story
Takoda is a good dog. Well behaved, always up for walks and is pretty calm. He is leash trained but I’ve also walked him without a leash an he stays with me. He loves playing with other dogs and has never started a fight. He is house trained, also He loves to just lay with you and watch tv. He gets along with cats, and does good with meeting new dogs. He don’t bark at people or other dogs. He can dig if anxious but he does not have a digging problem, he will dig a hole to lay in sometimes but don’t dig up plants or flowers or anything like that. I’ve had him a long time but can no longer take care of him. I would hate to drop him off at a shelter

Story
Hi, I`m Bear! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 45 pounds. I have a behavior waiver stating that I`ve harmed livestock. Staff will discuss this with you further.I am currently in a foster home. Please contact Canine Program staff if you would like to meet me!I`m eligible for Greenhill`s Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.** Here is what a volunteer says about me:`Bear is precious, well-mannered, and affectionate. He is fun to play with and easy to be around.` **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting friendly female dogs here at the shelter, but not so much male dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me! Cats? I`m looking for a kitty-free home due to prey drive.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos old enough to be respectful of me. 10+I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Ska was found on 5/19/26 at Harlow Road & Coburg Road in Eugene. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I`m Pelican! I`m about 3 years old and weigh 57 pounds. I like playing with toys, catching tennis balls, splooting, holding hands, rotating your mattress for you, and doing butt-tuck zoomies in small spaces! Staff have discovered I can give a very good husky howl when I`m bored! I have a medical waiver that staff can tell you more about when you meet me.** Here is what a volunteer says about me:`Pelican is the biggest sweetheart. He will stick to your side like glue. Easy walker, well-trained, and loves people.` **Do you like...Dogs? I haven`t shown much interest with other dogs here at the shelter. I may be able to live with another calm dog who can co-exist with me. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me.Cats? My history is a mystery. A slow introduction would help set us up for success. Kids? I`m a little shy, so a quieter home may be best for me. 8+I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person.
