Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Dukesky! Dukesky is a 7-month-old Pomsky who’s 1/4 Pomeranian and 3/4 Husky — which means he’s likely to stay smaller than your typical Husky but still have plenty of that Husky personality and charm! This sweet boy is just beginning his obedience training and is already showing great potential. He’s very good in his crate, loves playing with other dogs, and has a gentle, social disposition that makes him easy to love. Dukesky has also been around older children and does wonderfully with them. He’s looking for a home that will continue to work on his obedience, crating, and overall training. With consistency and care, Dukesky will grow into a loyal and well-mannered companion who’s ready for every adventure life brings!Dukesy is up to date with vaccines appropriate for his age and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
We have only had Max for a month, he is a big baby, trying to be a lap dog and very sweet, but we are realizing he is too powerful for us. He is almost 4 years old, he pulls when walked but is getting better, until he sees a wild animal. He is almost housebroken and paces in car rides. Loves to play, jump, pounce, and at times charge when gets over-excited. He even gets verbal when excited. Barks very little. He responds to very few commands. He is NOT food aggressive, and it is easy to take things from him that he shouldn't have. We do have him scheduled for neutering In February. Have ACA registration paperwork - Born 2/9/22 Rabies good till 8/2028. Bravecto for flea and tick - needs redone in January. He has a leash, bowls, collar, harness, toys, crate, kibble and homemade food. Also needs state dog tag. Very intellegent - got my attention to go to kitchen when I was burning food. Needs area to run and someone that is home most of the time -does not like being alone. hates crate

Story
Oliver is a very good boy, but has had a hard time adjusting to life with a baby in the home. While he loves kids, he doesn't do well with young kids in the home that draw attention away from him. He would do best with children school age, or older. He has lived with another dog, and a cat and does well with both. He's well trained and very smart, but he requires a lot of attention and a lot of exercise.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/8/25 Still available!  11/27/25 Chai is #8 of our 10 'Spice Pups.' Look at that face! Chai is the spokesperson for this litter. He loves to talk to us, especially when it's feeding time. He is bouncy and adorably playful, and energetic! This little guy is just precious and is full of personality! He will be so much fun for an active family. We dont know the breed of these puppies, they are all different, so there's probably more than 1 'daddy' involved. Mom is very mixed. Chai looks nothing like a husky, but that one blue eye combined with his vocal nature makes me think he might have some husky in there somewhere. He has a beautiful, slick, soft coat. Chai is in the middle size wise, at about 8-9 lbs with a slender build. He will likely be around 50 lbs when grown, but this is just a guess based on his current size and build. He is precious and sweet and he is going to make a great addition to a family! He is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Currently 8 weeks old at the time of this post. Located in New England. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Please visit our Facebook page too! https://www.facebook.com/adoptastrayrescueorg For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies!December 13, 2025, 9:40 am

Story
Violet is a very sweet, calm, even-tempered dog. She does not have the high-energy of our other huskies. She is a cuddler and a lap dog. She has been raised with another husky, a malamute, and three children, ages 16, 12, and 2. Violet loves to be with people. She loves to snuggle and sit right up against her people and other dogs. Violet likes to go for walks and lay in the sun outside. Violet does very well with children and other dogs. She is calm in nature and would do well with anyone who gives her lots of attention. Violet has had dog training classes, and is easily trained. She loves to work for treats and attention. She walks well on a leash. Her only behavioral issue is that she has been known to escape as huskies do. She has dug under fences and has run through an electric/invisible fence several times. She would need to be in a home with a secure fenced-in-yard. Violet is up to date on all her physicals and vaccinations and has no medical issues.

These pups are in Danville, Pennsylvania too!
