* HUSKY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED* Say hello to KAREN! Yes she is back due to no fault of her own. This sweet lady is looking for her furever home! This drama queen is looking for an active home where she can run and play when she wants. She requires someone who is well versed in her dramatic husky antics, for example singing the songs of her people! She would enjoy another dog friend who has the same playful energy she has and can tolerate her play style. She requires a home that will love her furever and knows how to have a good time! She will speak to the manager if her needs are not met. We think she will do well in a home with older kids and other playful dogs that can match her energy.

Good with kids,
Story
Winter Belle is a pure breed Siberian Husky with exceptional markings. She was born in July and we purchased her in September. She had her first couple rounds of shots, the last being around 13 weeks, but we didn't continue after that. We're not big on vaccinations of any kind. It took some doing, but we finally have her house broken. She pushes a doorbell by the door that notifies us during the day. At night she sleeps in our room and scratches the door. She's playful, yet gentle with the kids. We would love to keep her, but it's simply not possible in this season of our lives. It would be nice to get some of the money spent on her back, but we care more about her finding a good home than the money.

Story
This is a COURTESY POST, so this dog is not at the Cornelius Animal Shelter. If you're interested in Keo, please contact his foster parent at 302-438-5766. Meet Keo! This big teddy bear is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. We believe Keo is around 3 or 4 years old. Our son started fostering him when his prior owner left the area and couldn’t take Keo with him, but he wasn’t an appropriate dog for a small apartment. When he first joined us, he was underweight and having gut issues. After much testing we discovered that Keo has a form of Addison's Disease, which is easily treated with a small dose of prednisone. His health is now excellent, and he’s at a good weight and is very happy! We’ve been fostering Keo for several months now, and he gets along very well with our 4 other dogs (both males and females). He loves to play, preferring to chase and be chased rather than retrieving balls or sticks. Keo loves taking walks and he likes to wade in the water down at the lake. He likes a comfy dog bed and will sleep on the floor right next to your bed if you let him. He doesn’t get on the furniture unless invited and is not a “counter surfer”. When Keo is excited, he vocalizes like a husky, but is otherwise a quiet dog – he doesn’t bark at other dogs or passers-by. As a larger black dog he looks imposing, but you can see the sweetness and focus in his beautiful blue eyes. Give Keo a chance, you won’t regret it! He deserves a great home.

Story
Meet Ace, a friendly and affectionate 1 year old, handsome Siberian Husky. Ace is playful but gentle and is very loyal. He still has puppy in him which makes him so much fun. He likes other dogs and kids but maybe better with older kids since he still does a bit the puppy nipping and jumping, which is common with young dogs and huskies. Ace is very smart and loves kisses. Ace weighs 55 lbs, is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccines and is heartworm negative. He is potty trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash with a harness. Please email info@angelstotheanimals.org to arrange a meet and greet or request an application. Please give this sweet boy a chance and he will love you forever!!
