Story
Contact foster at brandibridges71@gmail.comI am happy to say that Pete has adjusted very quickly to his temporary home! He has been great around kids, and other dogs (big and small). Car rides have gone well, he likes to sit by the window and look outside. He does not resource guard and doesn’t mind sharing. However, he is not good with cats, or chickens. He isn’t very talkative unless he wants something, and loves to cuddle on the couch. I have been working with Pete on walking on a leash. I bought him a harness and he doesn’t mind wearing it at all. He does pull slightly and if he sees something that makes him excited, he will try to run towards it. I highly recommend crating him if he is left alone, and to move away anything from the crate he could pull into it and chew on.He is very gentle when taking treats and loves peanut butter! I gave him a bath at tractor supply and he responded well to it. For the most part he sat down and let me bathe him. Trick wise he knows sit, and I’m working with him to “lay down”Overall, Pete is a great dog. He gets along really well with other dogs and is a very chill husky, which is almost unheard of. He does get really excited when he sees a cat or a small animal, but he is controllable on a leash.
