Story
Meet Rogue! Hi, my name is Rogue but my friends call me Ro Ro. I am a ginger-colored husky mix, and I was born 9/13/2021. I came to the shelter with my brothers and sister, who have all moved onto their forever homes, way back in the fall of 2022. We were born and raised outside and were on our own, our momma did her best to care for us, but these "human" things were totally alien to me until we came to the shelter. I didn't really like them at first, I'd rather spend time hiding with my dog friends in my kennel, but after a while they wore me down with their yummy treats, and my doggy friends helped me see that they aren't too bad. Sometimes, they're even kind of fun to play with. I spent kind of a long time not trusting people, but my friends tell me that good things are worth waiting for. After spending lots of time in the kennels with other dogs, they moved me to this cool new room where I get to run around day and night with my best friends, and lots of new people come to visit me. I've found it's kind of fun to play keep away with the people, and when they give my friends treats, you bet I'm right there with them waiting for mine. I still prefer to be a little more independant than some of the dogs I know, but I've grown really fond of some people when I see them a lot. I think I'm actually ready to find one that I can call "mine" like my friends tell me they want. Some things I really like are toys, for sure, treats, and naps. If I had to pick a favorite toy, I'd probably say stuffed animals. Not that they last long, they're just so fun to tear apart! I also really like rolling around the herding ball they give us, that's pretty fun too. i am smart and will show my new human friends my many tricks i know once im comfortable with them. i know how to sit, lay, give paw, and come. More than anything, I'd love to go to a home with another dog or two, but I definitely want to meet them before I commit to living with them. As far as cats, I love cats! I love cats the same way I love stuffed animals. My people friends say this means I'm not allowed to live with any cats though. The little humans, or "kids", are okay, but I prefer when they're a little bigger and know when I want to be left alone. Anyway, I'm ready to find a home, do you want to help me?  Rogue is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $125. Rogue is considered to be a flight risk, so a fully fenced yard is required. Potential adopters may be subject to a home visit.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387. ##1530157##

Whether it’s going for long walks, playing in the park, or simply basking in the sun, Sandy is enthusiastic about experiencing everything that life has to offer. Sandy also has a friendly disposition, especially toward people and children, which makes her a fantastic addition to any family setting. She thrives on interaction and is always excited to meet new friends, young and old alike. However, it’s important to note that Sandy would do best in a home without cats, as her instincts may lead her to view them as something to chase. If you feel that your family is ready to welcome this charming pup into your lives, we encourage you to come meet Sandy in person. Spend some time with her and see if her playful spirit and affectionate nature resonate with your household. Sandy is a one year old husky mix with a zest for life, and she is simply waiting for the right family to discover the joy and love she has to offer. Come and see if Sandy is the perfect match for you and your family! ##2348971##

Story
Meet Panda Girl: Your New Best Friend!  Name: Panda Girl  Breed: Husky Mix  Age: 2-3 years old Weight: 48 pounds   Let us tell you about Panda Girl's journey which hasn't been easy. She was found at an abandoned house, left in a dirty pen with two other dogs, surviving without food or water for some time. For the past 9 months Panda Girl has been sadly waiting patiently for her forever home at a small town shelter, existing in a dark and depressing, tiny concrete cell. Despite her tough start, Panda Girl is a true sweetheart and still has a great attitude and grateful for any attention or moment outside her cell in the play yard. This girl is able to stay out in the play yard a lot because she gets along well with other dogs and adores everyone she meets. Her time in the shelter's play yard shows that she still has a  playful spirit and friendly nature.  This poor girl needs a break from this mundane existence in a shelter.  9 months is sheer torture and we hope someone will help her get out by fostering or even better, adopting.  Panda Girl deserves a loving family who will give her the care and companionship she craves. Could you be the one to offer her a second chance at happiness? Whether adoption or fostering, Panda Girl is ready to be your loyal and loving companion. Interested in adopting or fostering Panda Girl? Contact Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue today! Let's give this beautiful girl the break and love she needs. Email CCRTennessee@gmail.com to request an adoption application or learn more about fostering. We are a Middle Tennessee-based rescue, but we travel to the Northeast weekly for our mission. Story
You know every rescue dog has a pretty significant story that all of us cry over and fight  to help make their life better. This young girl Katya grew up on a pretty despairing property that was full of unaltered cats and dogs and not enough food and sometimes no water and often there was not adequate shelter from all the rain and elements of weather. None of the people around her could take care of all the animals. She was tied out and it broke our heart to go on the property and see the condition shevand others were raised in. Katya has risen above all of that as a one-year-old Husky that weighs 60 lbs. and she is a pure love.   A happy girl with a little bit of shyness because she's never gotten out into the world to experience new things. When we picked her up from the property and took her off that chain we knew she would be smiling very soon. She is always so overjoyed when you cuddle with her and play. She is a mellow Husky with medium energy that is easy to entertain and deal with.  She's lived amongst many cats all her life,  so that typical Husky caution of ' no cats allowed',  doesn't apply to her. She loves children, loves other dogs and she enjoys meeting adults with just a tad shyness and time to warm up to them. We want someone to spoil her rotten. We want someone that will let her sit on their lap and pretend that she's a Chihuahua like she thinks she is in size. She has  an innocence that makes you just want to hug and protect her. She makes you want to give her a better life and future.  If you've got a fenced yard, a Husky loving home, and some time, we want to hear from you. Maybe even just living in an apartment with a dog park could be the much better life that she's looking for. It would be such a better life than what she's had. Let's all come together and find Katya the best new life ever.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.April 26, 2025, 11:49 am

Story
Marley is a beautiful purebred Husky girl that is a nice settled 6 year old girl that is 45 pounds and rescued from a totally inhumane living environment for the last 4 years.   This girl needs some patience, love, training to not jump on you as you enter her space to pet her and a first time ever inside home.  She has lived in a neglected backyard environment that has resulted in her having heartworms which are being treated now. She will be fine after the treatment is done.  We are desperately trying to help the family who took and the other dog in to their home to give them fresh water daily (not the black rain water in the kiddie pool), food daily (instead of every 4 days) and a grassy environment that is mowed weekly and no 7 feet tall with weeds.  We are all working hard to get her and the other dog (can be separated) the good and caring homes and people to love them.  Marley deserves a dream come true new place in life.  She is not housebroken at the moment due to the years living outside.  But that can change in a short time with a schedule and patience.  This girl is playful, friendly and good with other dogs and people.  She just needs to learn NOT to jump on them with her joyful greetings.  Help us give Marley a true Cinderella story of rising from the neglect and abandonment she came from and let’s put her in a castle.  We want her to have a good life and all we need is a person with a rescue kind of heart.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
