Story
Hi. This lively young boy is Fenrir.(Yes, just like Loki's giant wolf son😁). We like to call him Fen or Fenny for short. He is loving, energetic and very intelligent. As a disabled veteran I am mentally unable to continue his care. He deserves a more of an active life than I can provide. We hope will find his perfect fit, because he deserves it. He does great with everyone except cats.

Story
We are looking to rehome this handsome guy, Nash. He’s the sweetest boy who would love nothing more than to be your 60 pound snuggle buddy. He’s 5 years old, crate trained and has 2 years remaining on his 3 year rabies vaccination. He does really well with other dogs (loves doggy daycare)but not cats. Our reason for rehoming is he is not a fan of our tiny humans(3 year old and 10 month old). He does well with older children, but not the little ones. He currently spends most of his time in a kennel or outside and he needs/deserves so much more! He will come with dog food, kennel and bed.

Story
We are looking to rehome our husky, Nash. He is absolutely the sweetest boy and would love nothing more than to be your 60 pound snuggle buddy. However, he does not love small children. It's completely our fault, but we believe he has built up resentment to our young boys and we are unable to trust him. He does really well with other dogs and older children. Nash deserves more than we have been able to give him. He is starved for more attention and would love to find a new family to play with. He's 6 years old, has 2 years left on his rabies vaccination, kennel/potty trained and would come with food and his kennel. We've spent the better part of a year trying to find the perfect home for him, we've called all the local husky rescues and they aren't accepting owner surrenders and this guy is not meant for a shelter. If you or someone you know is looking for a new snuggle buddy, we would love to set up a playdate!

Story
Blue came into the home about 8 months ago. He is high energy and needs someone with land/ a fenced in back yard. He loves going on hikes, playing with his toys, taking car ride, and adventuring everywhere. He is a cuddeler, but is used to sleeping in his crate at night. He is an anxious and needs somewhere he can feel safe without lots of new people around. Blue has had lots of training and knows basic commands as well as never had an accident in the house. He is not a chewer and is not destructive. He loves going to the dog park and running around with other dogs his size. He has been around young and older children and does well with them. His best match would be an active owner with a property able to run around and play.

Story
Meet Barley, the ultimate companion for any lifestyle! Whether you're an adventurer at heart or someone who cherishes lazy days on the couch, Barley fits right in. This lovable pooch has a laid-back personality that makes her the perfect addition to any family. She's just as happy to join you for a leisurely hike in the great outdoors as she is to snuggle up for a movie marathon at home. Barley's love for life is contagious, especially around meal times when she'll show off her adorable happy dance. Despite a tough start in life, she's a bundle of positivity, always ready to shower her humans and furry friends with affection. She's a pro at making everyone feel loved, and if belly rubs were a currency, Barley would be rich! With her unique blend of possibly Shepherd and Husky heritage, Barley brings the best of both worlds - the warmth and loyalty of a Shepherd and the gentle soul of a Husky, all wrapped up with a charming underbite that adds to her irresistible charm. She's the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter, embodying a peaceful and loving spirit. She is fully house broken and leash trained. As an added bonus she's perfect outside her crate with no destructive tendencies. Estimated to have been born in July 2023, Barley is all set to find her forever home. She comes to you with all her medical needs taken care of - from vaccinations and deworming to heartworm testing and prevention, spaying/neutering, and even a microchip, all included in an adoption fee of $325.00. Story
This precious snuggle bug is known as Mama because when she was rescued she had her pups with her! Those pups have gone into loving homes and Mama is now ready for her forever home too. She is a gorgeous Husky mix (just look at those EYES!!!) about 2 years old. She is playful and loving and her finders have already had her spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted. She gets excited around new dogs and may need a little time to adjust since she’s really only been around her own pups since being rescued. She is great on a leash, loves to ride in the car and is a total sunbather! Let us or her current foster family know if you’d like to meet Mama! jlprestia@gmail.com or info@eastcan.org.

Story
Sassy boy Sailor, is a dog that came so close to losing his life in a small town shelter in Tennessee.   He was so upset in the shelter that he was showing a truly bad side of his personality because of his fear.  The best foster mom ever who knows about behavior altering, took him home and learned how to show him there was nothing to fear so much.  He is a vibrantly alive 1-2 yrs old, 46 pounds Husky/Lab mix boy that is just so very sweet, handsome, energetic, agile, affectionate, intelligent, amazingly clean, and funny dog.   Our suggestion on the best home for him would be one that is with a strong dog leader who has no young children (over 12 is fine) and no cats.  This boy loves to go for hikes, long distance or short walks, playing fetch and being chased by dogs that he considers his friend, food rewards, food puzzles, being taught things new and taking his toys on his walks.  This funny, silly and full of life boy is a one in a million miracle.  He was destined to be euthanized and only because of this wonderful young woman who “knows” how to reach a dog’s inner self and reassure them they have nothing to fear, and now Sailor is here to live and love and be your handsome best friend in life.  All he wants to do in life is please you and love you with all his heart.  We do have Sailor on an inexpensive calming tranquilizer that has made all the difference for him and we will along a supply for a while.  If you are interested in talking with us about Sailor joining your life, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
