Penny was part of a backyard breeder. But I rescued her and her siblings. Penny is a little over a year old and is the perfect mix of Husky brains and small-breed snuggles. At just 30lbs, she is a "portable" adventurer who is ready to find her forever pack. Penny is a professional lover—she specializes in sweet kisses and "love nibbles" to let you know you're her favorite person. She is a high-energy girl who lives for playtime and her chew toys. Penny is already house-trained and crate-trained (she knows the "cage" command!), and she’s a polite girl who listens well to "sit," "go lay down," and "no ma'am." The Perfect Match: Penny is a social butterfly! She currently lives with three other dogs and must have a playful canine sibling in her new home to keep her company. She also does great with children. Because she has that Husky "explorer" DNA, she needs a secure, fenced-in yard with no "adventure holes." If there's a way out, Penny will find it!

He’s is AMAZING with children and other dogs. I’m not sure on other animals. He loves car rides. Has SEVERE separation anxiety. Otherwise, he’s all perfect. Due to the anxiety, he hollers all day long and with numerous calls from neighbors, we’ve been told we need to rehome him. He really needs a companion and love! He will stick to your hip like glue and you will always have a shadow.

Kimmy is a super sweet, low energy dog that would rather be with her person anywhere they are. She has been known to get along with other dogs in the past. We are unsure about cats. She has been very comfortable in her run, but does get a little vocal over food and when we first walk in. Otherwise, she is a very quiet dog.  Kimmy is spayed, vaccinated, was heartworm positive and has undergone treatment and has been on prevention, she is microchipped and dewormed and ready for a new home.  ##2310239##

Cosette is a young adult female Husky mix that has a very bubbly personality combined with being so very sweet. She loves to be pet and nearby, but she also has a sense of adventure and would love to spend her nice afternoons with her person outdoors. She is working through learning leash walking, so she would be a great weekend-adventure type of companion for someone!  She is crate trained and appears house trained, she is spayed (on 12/15/23), up to date on vaccines, microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and is ready to find a home that needs her.  She is dog friendly and is learning basic obedience cues. Nelson is a high energy busy dog that would do best in a home with another dog or an acitve household. Due to how long he was in the shelter prior to coming to rescue he does have some separation anxiety that is getting better. He can be vocal for a short time, but settles after only a few minutes.  He is dog friendly, but we would not recommend trying to introduce him to cats or small animals. He is a lot of energy, so older children would be ideal if going to a child-friendly home as he may knock over the smaller kiddos.  Nelson is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, on heartworm prevention, and ready for a new home!  ##2381743##
