Story
Me and my ex-wife got her as a puppy from pet land $5,500 dollars for her in Frisco. She is 100% full blood and AKC registered and tracing bloodline back as well. She is so well-trained. No s*** shake down. She's potty trained. She just needs a lot more attention than I can give, but I'm also relocating to another state can not take her with me. And I love her so much and she's such a sweet dog.And it's the last thing I ever wanna do I just truly want to find her a very very loving home and not asking any money for her just will make sure I know she is safe before turning over I really care for her and wear she goes. Thank u

Story
Geo is an acivte young adult. She is learning basic obedience ques and would do best in a multi-dog home or with an active person. She is crate trained and house trained. She is very dog friendly. Geo would benefit from someone that can help her socialize in new environments as she does have a fear response sometimes and will need someone able to help her work through it when it does come up.  She was returned to the rescue due to being a little crafty and finding her way out of a gap in their fence multiple times.  She is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention.  If you are interested in adopting Geo, please apply via her profile on RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt. ##1388544##

Story
Gemma is an AKC registered Siberian Husky that was found as a stray after she went missing due to fireworks on the 4th of July. She was finally captured in November after having a litter of puppies under a shed. Sweet Gemma does have some fears she needs to overcome. She is skittish and jumpy when meeting new people and she would do best with a confident companion that she could learn the world from. Naturally, she adores puppies and does great with them.  We do not recommend Gemma to a home with children at this time as they appear to frighten her causing her to hide. We do not know if she is cat friendly and her cat tests have been questionable on true results. Gemma will need to always be walked with a martingale collar and a secure harness due to her filght risk. She will need proper managment during noisy holidays which we can disucss in an adoption consultation.  Gemma has completed her heartworm treatment and needs to continue the cardiac recovery process over the next several weeks to a few months, but she will eventually be able to do all the activites she wants to do.  If you are interested in adding Gemma to your family, please visit RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt ##1260482##

Story
Gordon is an approximately 1 to 2 year old Siberian Husky that came to Redstone from our local, rural shelter. He was emaciated and could barely walk. His tail hung limp and nerve dead off his body. Luckily, with time and medical support, he regained full function of his hind legs and his tail. To look at Gordon today you would never notice anything was ever wrong with him.  He does have bullet lodged in his pelvic area. These generally cause more damage to attempt to remove rather than to leave them alone. We were very lucky that Gordon did not require any surgical intervention for his damaged legs or his tail.  Gordon is a very sweet boy and as he settled in here at the rescue he has found his husky voice. He enjoys to lay outside and observe the area around him. He can be sassy with other boys, but seems to get along ok with girls. He is still gaining some of his body weight back, but this will be a slower process over time as he has ground to make up. Gordon is considered a healthy weight by our veterinarian and he is cleared for adoption.  He is microchipped with lifetime registration, has been dewormed, neutered, he is heartworm negative and on prevention since coming to us here at the rescue, he is crate trained and appears mostly house trained, and he is vaccinated with core vaccines.  Petfinder: If you are interested in adopting Gordon, please visit RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt for his adoption profile and application.  ##1726746##

Story
Cosette is a young adult female Husky mix that has a very bubbly personality combined with being so very sweet. She loves to be pet and nearby, but she also has a sense of adventure and would love to spend her nice afternoons with her person outdoors. She is working through learning leash walking, so she would be a great weekend-adventure type of companion for someone!  She is crate trained and appears house trained, she is spayed (on 12/15/23), up to date on vaccines, microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and is ready to find a home that needs her.  She is dog friendly and is learning basic obedience cues. She could benefit from having another dog in the home, but could also do well as an only dog in an active home.  Petfinder: If you are interested in adopting Cosette, please visit RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt for her adoption profile and application.  ##1817203##

Finn

Siberian Husky

Male, 1 yr 10 mos

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Our sweet Finn is looking for a home that doesn't mind a special needs dog. He had to have his eye removed due to severe glaucoma and will need to have pressures in his healthy eye checked annually to monitor for any changes.  He is a very gentle soul that just wants to be as close to you as possible. Finn is lower energy and doesn't need to run off steam. He has dug at the fences, so monitoring his time outside is necessary to be sure he doesn't take himself on an adventure.  He can be selective with other dogs as he navigates being blind on one side, but he has had positive interactions. He showed little interested in cats at his veterianry clinic, so if you are a cat friendly home and interested we can certainly see how he interacts further on request. Finn is neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention, house trained, kennel trained, vaccinated, and dewormed. He does need to gain some weight, but his veterinarian has cleared him for adoption as this will take time and he can gain in a home as easily as he can gain in rescue care.  ##1878220##

Shaitan is going to be a big dog when he grows up.  He is very cuddly and sensitive.  Shaitan is nuetered and vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines, he is microchipped, dewormed, on heartworm prevention, and is crate trained and house trained. He loves the water and isn't afraid to get all the way in. He is very dog social and enjoys being nearby.  Petfinder: Please visit RedstoneHuskyRescue.org/adopt for his adoption application!  ##1664409##
