Story
The name Ludo comes from latin word ludo which means "I play", and boy does Ludo love to play! It doesn't take much to make this gentle giant happy - he just needs you close and some tasty treats on hand. This boy is all smiles- all day -and every stranger he wants to make his friend! Ludo gets so happy sometimes he prances- and lives to give kisses. We are not sure what this beautiful boy is exactly - but he lives to please- and loves toys - but please stick around to play with him. He loves your company than any toy combined. We are not certain of his home life before he was found wandering in the city- however no one has to come to look for sweet Ludo - but he is working at responding to his new name and does his best to do his business outside. Ludo is all heart- and just wants to give you his!

Story
Say hello to the beautiful mythical belusky Lyla. Ms. Lyla loves to jump to show love and get hugs but is just her way to decompress her excitement. Everyone is Ms. Lyla's friend and is easily entertained by a few laps around the lawn and a good squeaky toy. Lyla is always tapping gently on her kennel gate to say hello and is such a lover of simple things- a treat and pets light up her world. Note: we are not sure what Lyla's living situation was before she ended up at the shelter- but she does her business away from her food and sleeping area. Lyla has yet to show aggression but since she is so enthusiastic to meet everyone and forgets how big she is households with small children may not be the best living situation at this time.

Story
This sweet girl's name is Jewel- just like the ones in her eyes :). We are not completely certain of what this husky mix is blended with- but she is sure sugar from her ears to her tail. Jewel is a recent empty nester- she had TEN puppies- and now that they are all adopted she is ready to be with a family who won't let her down, and won't leave her when the going gets tough. If a kind resident hadn't spotted and reported her when they did- Ms. Jewel may have given birth outdoors in the summer heat :(. Jewel was a great Mother but was sure ready to see them go! Now she's sleeping and eating well in her kennel- she has an absolute blast when outside. Ms. Jewel has a slight limp when walking - we are not certain of why this is but it may have been a habit to accommodate that her nails were overgrown. Note: We are not certain of Jewel's home life before she came to the shelter- however when she is outside or on a leash she makes it a point to use the restroom and also does her business away from her food, bed and blanket.

Story
Sabrina is just as lovable as the day she came in - however the light in her eyes is not as bright :( . Sabrina thrives off human love- and is just eager to please. Sabrina was found swimming in one our cities lakes and a kind citizen had to kayak into the lake to bring her to safety. Contact was made with her owner- however the individual refused and left her behind. Sabrina had crying spells - but warmed up to staff after a walk and play time. Huskies are notorious escape artists - but when we open her kennel she does not try to sprint for the door like a good girl. She stays in her kennel and waits before being led outside on leash. P. S. /Sabrina gets really excited when she sees other dogs - especially huskies! Sabrina keeps her kennel fairly clean- and does her business away from her food and bed. But Sabrina acclimates pretty well - we can tell she wants to share her happiness with someone.
