Please complete and return to us for review!  Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas.  Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard.  Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday!May 21, 2025, 6:45 pm

Story
Hello, I'm Polo! My days are filled with wagging tails and friendly barks. I love meeting new people, they always make my tail wag faster! I've been told I have a heart full of sweetness and a personality that could brighten anyone's day. I adore playing fetch and I can't resist a good belly rub. I've made many friends here, both two-legged and four-legged. But I dream of a family to call my own, a place where I can share my love and affection. Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love.

Story
Meet Nova A Sweet, Full-Blooded Husky Looking for a Loving Home 🐾 Nova is a beautiful, full-blooded Husky who is both crate trained and house trained. She understands basic commands, sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, and is used to being an indoor dog—she does not live outside. She’s calm, affectionate, and just wants to be loved and cared for. 💕 Unfortunately, due to severe allergies in the household (everyone except me is affected), we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to rehome her. This is not something we ever wanted, but it has become a medical necessity. Nova deserves a family who can give her the love, time, and attention she thrives on. If you are looking for a loyal, well-behaved, and loving companion, Nova could be the perfect fit for you. 📩 Please reach out if you’re seriously interested or know someone who might be. We are committed to making sure she goes to a safe, caring home
