Story
Meet Rocky Rocky is a 7-year-old husky who's ready to find his perfect forever home! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. This handsome boy is incredibly sweet and loves kids. He's dog-friendly, though a dog test will be required to ensure the best match. Rocky is said to be cat friendly as well, but slow and patient introductions are strongly recommended. Rocky would do best with knowledgeable owners who understand the husky breed and can give him the structure he needs. He's energetic, loves being outdoors, and is always up for a car ride! He also enjoys toys and plays great, though he can sometimes be a bit possessive, so that's something to keep in mind—especially in homes with young children. The good news? Rocky is both crate trained and house trained, making the transition into a new home that much smoother. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will bring energy and affection into your life, Rocky might just be your perfect match. Story
Archer is a 2 year old husky mix who came to our rescue in September after being saved moments before euthanasia at an overcrowded Los Angeles shelter. He is one of the sweetest dogs around; always laying his head in your lap for scratches. He loves stuffed toys and other dogs, but no cats for this guy! Archer is crate trained, but he does sometimes need coaxing to initially go in. He is cuddly, and likes to follow you around room to room. He is the perfect age to bond with a new family— over the puppy and destructive teenage stage, and comfortable in the calm, loving stage. He comes when called, but hasn’t mastered fetch yet. Come meet this angel of a dog and try not to fall in love with his charm!

Story
Meet Blizzard! He is a 7-year-old Husky boy who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. ❤️ This sweet guy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and 100% housetrained. He has lived with children and cats and has done wonderfully with both. He also does well around other dogs. He is a friendly and affectionate dog who enjoys being around his people and is happy to be part of the family. His current family loves him very much, but their child has autism and is very sensitive to the constant licking and the amount of hair that comes with a long-haired Husky, so they have made the difficult decision to find him a home that is a better fit for everyone. Like many Huskies, he has a beautiful long coat, which also means regular brushing and plenty of shedding—so his future family should be prepared for the fluff that comes with such a gorgeous dog! He would do best with a family who understands the Husky breed, enjoys having a loyal companion, and doesn’t mind a little extra hair around the house. If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered, house-trained companion, he could be the perfect addition to your family. 📩 Please reach out if you’re interested in giving this wonderful boy the loving home he deserves. 🐾 He is currently being fostered in Mississippi but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road!

Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup! Apply petpath.org
