Story
Ash – 2-Year-Old Female Husky Ash is a beautiful 2-year-old black-and-white Husky with a fluffy wooly coat. She is smart, sweet, and very well-tempered, with a wonderful personality. We are preparing for a move and, after a lot of consideration, have made the difficult decision to find Ash a new home where she can continue to thrive and get the space, attention, and companionship she deserves. Ash does not do well with cats, so she will need to go to a cat-free home. Our priority is finding her a loving, responsible home that is a great fit for her.

Story
Meet Tank – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Fresh Start Tank is a 2-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving family he deserves. Tank came to us through a seizure case in heartbreaking condition. He was severely emaciated, but thanks to the care he's received, he's slowly gaining weight and getting stronger every day. Shelter life has been stressful for him, and while the kennel can be overwhelming, there's a completely different dog waiting to shine once he's comfortable. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He previously lived with other dogs, and we feel he has the potential to do well with a canine companion. A dog meet is required to make sure everyone is a good match. We are unsure how he is with cats, so any introductions should be done with extreme caution and very slowly. Tank is nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but once he trusts you, he's an absolute love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Because of this, we'd like everyone in the household to come to the meet-and-greet so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. At only 2 years old, Tank is still very much a puppy. He'll benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. He absolutely loves being outside, exploring new places, and soaking up all the sights and smells. An active family would be a wonderful fit for him, giving him healthy outlets for his energy while helping him build confidence. Tank has already overcome so much. Now all he needs is someone willing to believe in him and give him the second chance he's been waiting for. Could that be you?Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Shadow! This beautiful 2-year-old Husky girl is looking for a family to call her own! Shadow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She is a sweet and loving girl who enjoys her toys and is easy to walk on leash. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly once she realizes she is safe and can be herself. Shadow has previously lived with other dogs and seems to be dog friendly, but a dog test will be required. We are unsure how she feels about cats, so slow, patient, and careful introductions will be important. We think Shadow would do well with respectful children who understand her boundaries and are willing to give her the time she needs to feel comfortable. An active family would be best for this energetic girl and can help her get her Husky energy out in all the right ways! If you're looking for a sweet, loving, playful companion who just needs a little time to warm up, Shadow may be your girl! Interested in adopting? Story
ANNA IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!    Anna is a super sweet 1–2-year-old Siberian Husky. She was found as a stray and was then tied up in a yard for a short time before being turned over to the rescue. She accepts training and is very treat motivated. She likes to play with her people and accepts dogs smaller than her. She is initially timid and guarded around dogs bigger than her. However, when given time and the opportunity to get to know them, she is tolerant of them as well. Anna needs a family that is willing to give her time and space and let her be in control of affection and play time. She has not been tested with small children or animals other than dogs. She currently lives in a foster home with three other dogs but has only befriended the smaller male. She would do best as an only dog in a home with adults or older children. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Anna up north to her new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Anna here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net      THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2026, 8:34 pm

MAZZY IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!    Meet Mazzy!  She is one of the sweetest and happiest dogs I’ve ever met! Mazzy is very intelligent, eager to learn/please and loves everyone she meets. Mazzy is about a year and a half old and weighs 58lbs. She is fully housebroken and crate trained. Mazzy knows how to sit and wait for her food to be put in her bowl. She also knows how to give paw in exchange for her favorite treat. She is great with kids. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and loving sidekick who will love you unconditionally, Mazzy is your girl! She is fully vetted. Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!
