Story
Cree (male) and Quinn (female) are two Siberian Huskys around age 8-10 years old. We currently are fostering them after rescuing from an unsafe neglectful situation. Unfortunately we cannot keep them long term and cannot foster them for much longer. Cree and Quinn are litter mates and have never been apart, therefore they both need to be adopted together. They are both sweet, funny, loving dogs. Cree is a big softy and gentle. He can be shy at first and takes a bit to get warmed up but once he does he loves lots of pets and play time. Quinn is a spitfire. As much as she loves her scratches she loves to play as well. Cree and Quinn were crated most of their lives and would not do well as outside dogs. They do pretty well on the leash, but are not very well trained. They love to be in their crates, it is their safe space. They have so far gotten along with other dogs, as long as they are not aggressive. They have also done well with older kids. Young kids and cats, we dont know about.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Introducing the wonderful Miska, a 1-2-year-old female husky mix rescued from the shelter's euthanasia list. Although Miska was initially heartworm positive, she has undergone treatment and is now fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready for a fresh start. While Miska remains a bit timid, she is making strides each day towards overcoming her past. It's apparent that she experienced abandonment and lacked the socialization she needed during her puppyhood. Despite her early challenges, Miska is dog-friendly and would thrive in a family environment filled with love, patience, and understanding. Miska deserves the opportunity to find happiness and have a family to call her own. She is currently adapting well in her temporary foster care, but she longs for a permanent home. Consider welcoming Miska into your family in 2023, and be part of her journey to a brighter and happier future.

Special Needs: NA- just gentle, positive reinforcement training, like all shelter dogs Radley and his sibling, Chilli, were dumped on a back country road. Roaming from place to place and having to fend for themselves until they ended up in the yard of our Intake Coordinator. They were brought into our shelter to try and find them a home. Radley has done very well with other dogs, but can guard food/water. He is wonderful with people and excellent with children. Radley is a 1 yr old male, 42lb husky mix. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. An experienced husky owner is preferred and a fence is required. No small animals.

She pulls a bit on the leash, but loves to go for walks. She has not been in a home setting, so she would need to be train for indoor manners. Hemi is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home! This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org. If approved, we will facilitate a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions you may have.
